Yeah the best defensive team in the NFL figured him out yesterday and shut him down to the tune of 31 points.

He's been hurt and the injury affected him

But hey - Thank god he will now be a JAG after being figured out.

.
He literally had almost nothing to do with most of those point. He literally got carried into the endzone on his "running" td.

He got a layup from Johnson butter fingering a ball that they ran in. Got bailed out of an overthrown 4th down...that they ran in.

He literally had a couple of run on that one drive...that was it.

He was certifiably terrible. He didn't have to do anything because SF literally could not pass. JOKE.

right, with no run game, shaky OL, and Gallup not fighting to stay on his route and that was on both of them..
Dak certainly deserves blame for all his interceptions, but he cannot carry the unit on his own.

right looked like Cooper rush out there handing it off and letting the defense knock out qbs for the win.

Okay.

Would you rather take your chance and maybe or maybe not fail?

Or know you're going to fail with Dak as most of us do?

I know which boat I'm in.

You guys are using Mahomes greatness as a reason to not even try and that's pretty weak. We don't need an All-Time great like Mahomes. We just need someone that isn't a bum like Dak. We were a QB away this year.
I rather take the chance, but I won't stop to try and build. Its not all black and white. you can draft a QB, while continuing to build the right system around what you have.

or are you just want to quit and start from scratch? is that your whole argument?

btw, you are drowning. concept of a boat is foreign to you.

and I am not using Mahomes for anything. more like its you who in every other posts says Mahomes, Mahomes. you are using Mahomes as if Mahomes like QBs grow on trees and we just have to take a pick of what we like.

we were a QB away. which QB? give me a name. who could we have had and didn't that could have done this. your whinning falls flat if you can't provide a better alternative solution. and if you say Rush, then I am going to ask the mods to move this to the stupid zone, because that's where it would belong.

this crystal ball BS is got to stop. I can look back at history and tell you a million things that should have been done differently.

so put your name in the hat. name the QBs you like us to go after in this draft. let you be tied to that pick and your predictation.

My point is, he may be #8-9 now, but when he signed his deal it was considered elite money. That is all I am calling out.
again, seems like concepts of market price and NFL QB market are totally going over your head.

so he was #2.... ok, so we should have expected him be as good as an elite QB.

but now he is #8 so we should expect him to be as good as #8.

get it? or is it still going over your head?

'Carry the Unit'? The Offense was doing ok until Pollards injury....its the fact he physically shrunk rather than step upto the challenge. Has someone got his figures pre and post Pollard injury? OK Moore couldn't create a Plan B (and for that he deserves to go),but Dak just capitulated.
Give him 2023, no excuses, no blame, show us he can be a difference maker (and beat adversity) or cut him as a Post 1/6 (2024) and save $34m.

But conversely on the Mahomes situation, if the Chief's didn't have him then Burrows would be in the SB for a second straight year....so there's two QB's. Allen would also be in the same conversation as without Mahomes or Burrowz he'd be in two SB's.
Looking at QB's to draft....49ers and Eagles have shown that a decent QB can be elevated with a good team.

Naw they are frauds. These same frauds defend Romo so I know they’re frauds.
Not me. And I gave Dak a lot more leeway that I even gave Romo. But 7 years is enough time. That 49ers game totally convinced me. We aren't winning anything with him. Sometimes you have to jump ship instead of going down with the Titanic. It's okay to say you were wrong.

Your backward insults are funny. I won't interact with you when you turn to insults. I understand market price... and at the time Dak signed way above market price. Easy for you to now say he is below market price ... and he certainly is playing below it.

If you are going to reply with some other d bag reply don't bother... I bet you are pathetic in real life and horrible at parties. Good luck to you and your probably awful day to day. My prediction is kids hate you and wife left you already in your mid age life.

You need this board more than me.

Did any of that go over your head?

People on this board need to stop whining about Dak Prescott, he isn't as bad as many believe and not going anywhere in the near future. He is our QB and we need to support him, not kill him over everything wrong with the franchise:

-I can go back into the summer posts, where nobody had high expectations for this offense. Many thought with the loss of Cooper, Gallup not going to be ready, this team was going to be lucky to win 8 games. They won 12 games again, with lesser talent, Tyron missing most of the season and Dak out 5 games.

-Dak missed 5 games due to breaking his thumb, when he returned, the offense averaged over 30 points a game, #1 in 3rd down conversion and one of the league leaders in red zone efficiency. Outside of the Washington game, the team just lost 2 OT games on the road, in which the defense blew 2nd half double digits leads. Did Dak play perfect games and protect the football, no, but his offense wasn't the only reason why they lost.

-Lamb finally played like a true #1 receiver down the stretch, but Noah Brown was our next best receiver, yes, Noah Brown the special teamer. If I would of told anybody that Noah Brown was going to be the #2 receiver at the start of the year, everyone would of said they have no chance. Gallup was a complete disaster this season post injury, Tolbert was a bust and Washington was even worse. They were forced to sign a retired 33 year old receiver that was sitting on his couch. Their receiving core was the 2nd worse within the playoff teams.

-Where was the team's strong running game? Don't even need to go into Zeke's production as we all know his time is up, but the run game totally disappeared when Steele went down with an injury. This was a major issue heading into this year's postseason, believe they averaged less then 3 yards against the 49ers in their loss. Both backs could do nothing on the ground. There is a reason why the OL coach, RB was just fired.

-Dak just faced the 49ers defense, which was the best in the entire league. No running game, he was asked to read a defense in which they had 7-8 in coverage with 1 legitimate receiver. On top of this, a scheme that Steve Young stated prior to the game was the most basic, easiest to defend. Now you same fans are changing the goal posts and says Moore is Dak's scapegoat for his poor play.

-People need to accept the fact, the 49ers were the better team, period.

-If you want to blame anybody, it should be more towards the front office. They put together a less talented group and expected better results. They are now forced to upgrade the talent and the staff had no choice but to change their scheme. No doubt Dak has to play better and protect the football, but he needs some support to be successful. Josh Allen scores 10 points at home and gets a pass, but Dak scores 12 on the road against the best defense and it's all his fault.
One of the few football educated posters on here. In a sea of football dumb cowboys fans.

Very refreshing post and spot on.

And after the Eagles got a big lead they didn't need the offense that much. SF was never going to win that game. It was time to just run out the clock.

What insult? You appear to lack the understanding of qb contracts. No insult to state the obvious.

Must be nice to simply hand the ball off and blow out the niners. For some reason Dak can’t be afforded these luxuries or supposedly he needs everything perfect around him.

We haven't even got a Purdy ATM. Better cutting him in 2024 (post 1st June) and saving the $34m and improve the team, then we don't necessarily need a Mahomes.....even a Stafford has had better success than Dak.

Dak is bad, Dak costs the Cowboys game. The Dak hate is justified, wait is it hate is he's just actually bad and people see that?
People love to use "hate"...hyperbole that justifies their Dak Crusade agenda. Pols and media know this tactic very well. Drum up some fear , hysteria and shame....now you're good to go.
I still don't get the need for people to protect Dak like a little child, nor the lack of understanding the futility of it, even if were a real thing.

He's a grown man, proclaimed "leader" of the team, making tons of money, plays for the Dallas Cowboys, and screws up at just the worse times, in the worst ways.

But the fans are unreasonably hard on him. Poor Dak.

Lol dude Dak’s whole thing is he protects the football and he lead the league in turnovers and played in less games.

They wanted him to stay aggressive and that’s what happens when you ask him to do that.

You can't erase history as much as you want to. When the contract was signed he was paid like an elite player. Three years later it may be average, sure, but don't act like at one point it wasn't. I am all fine for bickering and debating on here for fun, but when people want to make backward insults then I can play nasty too.
