they've changed QBs before plenty of times after Aikman. Same major issue. cant win big.

maybe its the GM? but that cant change so we are left with maybe the broken clock will hit the right time eventually. the clock is ticking slow though. very slow.

The title drought includes the last five years of Troy Aikman's career. Think about that.

Not making excuses for Dak but the Cowboys' problems started when he was three years old. Jerry and Stephen are the issues here. The Cowboys can win with Dak, and by and large they have. What is keeping this team from taking the next step is the front office's inability to upgrade the roster at areas of need and relying too much on a "we like our guys" philosophy that only gets them so far.

As long as things remain the same in the front office then nothing else will change around the Star. One constant has been the front office and that's where the problems are. "Nothing changes if nothing changes".

I don't know. I somewhat enjoyed the Romo years. He was a pretty darn good qb. Too bad his body couldn't hold out. He was getting better at not turning the ball over as the years went by. He was a fun guy to watch.

Are gonna have to fall on the sword before Jerry clues up and realizes its the QB that's the reason our offense is inconsistent?
Well I mean, you currently can't move on from the QB without completely blowing up the salary cap for 2 more seasons. In the meantime you can try some new coaching and see if it can level up Dak's game.

It's not like Dak is some kind of uncoachable, arrogant diva. Now Jay Cutler could kill a coach with the best of them.

Jerry won't change QBs until those #4 jerseys sells start to decline.

Dak threw 4 ints in his rookie year with a running game and game manager roll.....it's the coaching that tried to turn him into something he's not.

Well, what is he supposed to be then?

This. Dak is stuck here.

He can be a damn fine bus driver.. if we had used and paid him accordingly it would be fine.

The biggest problem with dak is we tried to use him and pay him like mahomes..

Jerry is fully aware it's the quarterback there's just nothing he can do about it until at least next season. He can however draft a quarterback.
That will give me light at the end of the tunnel

Pretty sure it will be until he hires you as his trusted football advisor. Have you let him know you are available?

Naw, I think you are more qualified to advise JJ on how to handle Dak. You would be the perfect fit because in your wisdom Dak can do no wrong and that in itself would save Dak's job no matter how bad he plays.

Probably even Jerry knows it's the QB. He painted all of us in the same dead cap corner. If they extend him there will be nothing more than wild cards for the foreseeable future.

Maybe not even wildcards...you never know with this QB.

I am very confident if I was in charge this team would have won multiple super bowls in the last 27 years.

This isn't hard.
