NFL insider says things ‘weren’t great’ between Mike McCarthy and Kellen Moore at end

One part of MMs PC that I haven’t seen mentioned….

“We had a bad day yesterday….”

Meaning the day before the PC. I’d love to know what that meant and if there weren’t finally some cards put on the table…and by whom.

He meant it’s a bad day because they had to let a bunch of coaches know they weren’t being brought back.

A bad day in terms of part of the business

Remember when last week when MM was asked about Kellen's job security? I thought his response was pretty direct, especially for a guy who's been your OC for the last 3 years. His response........Kellen's being evaluated alone with the other coaches....ouch! So maybe there's some truth here.......

The other fact once again is Joe Philbin, is Mike McCarthy’s Buddy and Dallas didn’t even renew his expiring contract. He served as OC for the Packers in the WCO and took over for McCarthy after he was fired in GB. He is essentially a right-hand man of Mike McCarthy and came with him.

So pretending like Mike had full say in what is happening with the offensive changes and he was just upset at Moore is pretty gullible IMO.
