Big loss for SF, glad to see Ryans get a HC job but the Houston one is a dumpster fire given that front office. That said, Texans could land a quality defensive stud at #2 and #12.

Disagree. he had his pick of jobs and took this 6 year guaranteed gig with multiple 1st rounders this year and next in a soft division…..he just needs to slap Lovie the next time he sees him for costing him the 1# overall pick.

Can also choose his QB, either with the #2 pick or acquire someone like Carr. I'd choose Houston over Denver, too.

Also AFC South vs AFC West, Jags are up and coming but still a much easier spot to start a HC career

I think there's a rule about poaching for essentially lateral moves. They could request for HC interview, but not for the same or lesser position.
