Jalen Carter
Georgia · DT · Junior
Carter is a highly disruptive player with the versatility to line up at any position along the defensive front. Against the pass, he has an explosive first step and understands how to work through the edges of blockers. He jars opponents with his initial strike before clearing his hips and closing in on the quarterback. He has the change-of-direction ability of a player 40-to-50 pounds lighter. He can use pure power to run through single blocks and possesses the quickness to split double teams. Against the run, he is firm and strong at the point of attack and has the range to make plays on the perimeter. The only negative is that he ends up on the ground a little too much. Overall, Carter is a real difference maker and must be accounted for on every snap.

Interesting rankings. Has Kincaid and Washington rated higher than Mayer at TE. Which from an athletic perspective I can see. But Kincaid at 9? Seems pretty high.

DJ has a lot of contacts in the league. I have a feeling some of this is fairly representative of how personnel people see a lot of these guys. As far as the actual draft goes, we all know at least three QBs top 10. Highly regarded OL prospects have been getting taken earlier and earlier as well. I agree White is a stealth riser. He hadnt been getting much run up to this point. I see him ranked 4th round other places.

Kincaid in Dallas would go nuts, he would add a Playmaker at a position other than WR or RB.

Good to see Derick Hall ranked high by Daniel, I think he's a solid OLB/Edge late 1st.

I would love to get Kincaid at 26,i have no idea why i was watching Utah games but he is explosive and YAC monster.

If, and these are just rumors, that we are going to try to be more ground oriented now that Moore is gone, Mayer is probably a better fit than Kincaid.

26. Darnell Washington

58. Josh Downs

90. Tank Bigsby
Yeah, let's use our first three picks on offense. I actually dislike the first two picks regardless of what side of the ball they are on.

And I would be looking TB in the 4th and 5th rounds. No sooner than that.

Heck, screw it get Washington then.

michael mayer,te-notre dame ranked 26th.
if that happens draft night...i turn his card in and don't look back.
he's a match-up problem for defenses and i'd love to have one of those here.

I'd rather have Mayer. He's a more proven commodity and I suspect an easier transition to the NFL than Washington. But Mayer might be gone by 26.

He’s going to need to run well for me to be good with a 1st on him.

One of the more overrated guys in the class IMO. Just don’t see him being an easy seperators…gives me Kmet vibes who is good at everything but not really a difference maker worth spending a 1st on.

I hear ya. I think Mayer will be there because of a poor 40 (4.80).

Kmet is really good. 7 TDs last year on a team that couldn't pass a lick.

Really good is a stretch for me. I think he’s comparable to Schultz who is an average NFL TE.

Neither are dynamic. And if I’m spending a premium pick on a TE I want someone who is dynamic.
