Breaking down the top corners!

Quinn was in Dallas when they drafed:
Kelvin Joseph
5'11-1/2, 197
arm length: 31-7/8"

i.e. Joseph not tall or long armed.

I think they were OK with him because he ran a 4.35 forty.

Side Note: Joey Porter is going to be in 9 or 10 mocks on CZ...

My impression is the Quinn likes to have 1 big physical CB and 1 really fast CB.
Feel Diggs fits that big corner, but we need that fast one to cover those receivers who can stretch the field. I want a corner who does a better job than Brown locating the football when his back is turned to the QB. This is one of Diggs best traits.

They rarely gave Brown deep help.

I think Quinn was ok if the 2nd CB played conservative and gave up some catches, but wanted him to avoid the big plays.
- Eventually Brown (or most other CBs) with no deep help get burned.

With so many teams avoiding Diggs, you would think it would make sense to roll coverage to the other side. I know many are down on Diggs, due to his poor tackling habits, but not me, having a corner who teams avoid, makes it much easier to defend.
