Dream team, keep dreaming.
The defensive TD looked a clear bang bang play in real time - the defender didn't even celebrate rhe TD as he knew and Goddert still had part of his left foot down when he had possession aftee the initial fumble. Both were close but correctly called after replay. They missed a hold by Bradbury in the first half but in reality it doesn't justify calling a hold on the ticky tacky play at the end. Obviously hilarious as it's the Eagles but taking a step back and if looked at objectively had that happened to the Cowboys then I genuinely wouldn't waste my time following a sport with officials like that. They let them play for pretty much the whole game and there would have been a load more holds not called beforehand then suddenly a late flag comes out. It's an embarrassing look for the NFL and it makes me realise the Cowboys have little chance of winning a Superbowl with Jerry as the owner even if they had the best team and made all the plays. The Eagles were fortunate the second defensive TD was overturned and that the Goddert sideline bobble was upheld. Maybe they were both correct, but they were also both very close plays.
Well, bad things happen because of incompetence or malevolence. The very seemingly-strategic nature of the bad call makes me think it's (intelligence) malevelance. I agree. They need to straighten this thing out.I don’t think the fix was in… But that’s just the stupidity of NFL officiating. Inconsistent and awful just plain terrible… If they don’t fix it they risk, if not killing the golden goose, at least making it really really sick
Then Hurts will snap it to himself.Get your RB as center
There were several calls could have gone either way.On one hand, I'm happy that the Eagles lost. On the other hand, that holding call was egregious, and game changing. So, I've decided to be a class act and concede my jersey bets with my Godfather and roommates. It's not fair, imo, to end the bet in the tie that I had with my Godfather as things could've changed if not for that.
“Us”…..who the hell are you? If you’re an Eagle fan, why the heck are you watching the game in a Cowboys forum? I wish nothing but misery on anyone associated with the Eagles! You could point to a number of things that technically “cost” them the game. We scored 35, punted once, and couldn’t stop Patrick Mahomes throwing to wide open 3rd string RBs and WRs in the flat. That’s what lost it for us
Turned the ball over too...Best outcome we got a good game and the Eagles lost. They lost because they couldn't stop the Chiefs, zero sacks, no pressure at all really on Mahomes. They gave up a TD on the same play twice to an open man. Sucks to suck but I won't accept officiating being their excuse
Agree except the Eagles should have had the ball with 1 min 50 secs and a timeout to either take the game to OT with a field goal or win with a TD.Best outcome we got a good game and the Eagles lost. Anyways. Nfl tried to cheat for them and it still didn’t work. The defensive TD looked a clear bang bang play in real time - the defender didn't even celebrate rhe TD as he knew and Goddert still had part of his left foot down when he had possession aftee the initial fumble. Even Bradbury said it was the right call. He held, got caught, and was penalized. On one hand, I'm happy that the Eagles lost. On the other hand, that holding call was egregious, and game changing. Wawawa….go cry in an Eagles forum. I hate everything Eagles! Officiating getting worse.Well, bad things happen because of incompetence or malevolence. The very seemingly-strategic nature of the bad call makes me think it's (intelligence) malevelance. I agree. They need to straighten this thing out.
