Best news all day. Let them suffer for ever. Teams don't recover from losses like that and return to the superbowl the following season.
We lost Superbowl V to Baltimore by 3, then beat Miami the next year.
Miami then beat Washington the following year in Superbowl VII.
Patriots were the last in 2018-2019

It does happen, but not often.

Too bad Bradberry, the guy called for it, doesn’t agree. He admitted on air that he got caught looking in the backfield and held the receiver from getting behind him. He admits grabbing the jersey was a bad decision.

I’ll tell ya. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much discussion, on this board, on Twitter and in the media. Over a call that was objectively the correct call. It’s really something.

I find it hilarious so many are rejoicing in the Eagles loss as if that somehow elevates the Cowboys. We would still be hungover from making it to an NFC title game.

May it be us losing to Mahomes next year.
Really? How long have you been a fan? We’re you there to see the Buddy Ryan Eagles fake kneeling down in the final seconds of a game they won only to pop up and throw the bomb to run the score up and embarrass Landry? We’re you there when they were cheering and applauding Irvin’s neck injury as he was carted off, ending his career? I’ve attended a dozen games in the old Vet stadium and seen their fans up close and personal.

I hate everything Eagles and can’t hold back a smile when players get injured or play poorly or lose. My most hated franchise and city in sports. YES, I’m happy as hell!

It used to happen all the time back in the day. For a number of years, the losing team would return to win the next year…..Cowboys, Dolphins, Commanders, just to name a few.

I only watched the very end when everyone was crying. The holding call about sums up the NFL these days...on an uncatchable ball no less. My tears of joy can’t put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
Uncatchable only applies to DPI, not holding. They throw flags for holding whether or not the QB throws the ball.

A lot of them have been ripping their d coordinator for a while now. They dislike him.

Tonight he was bad, had 0 adjustments all game. Vaunted eagle d was a joke.

Funny thing is we were maybe the last team to make that d look as bad as they did tonight.
But he is considered head coaching material. LOL

Been a fan since 1976. The Buddy Ryan Eagles have as much to do with todays Eagles as the Landry teams have to do with the modern cowboys. Nada

I hate the Eagles too but I also understand that football without rivalries is kinda dull. So, I respect my adversary.

It doesn’t elevate the Cowboys but it’s fun rejoicing in a bitter rivals misery.

I know that. I don’t think it was catchable if he wasn’t held. Just my opinion.
Defensive holding has nothing to do whether or not a ball is catchable. Thats a pass inference consideration. The Eagle defender admitted it was a penalty. Not much else to discuss.

Absolutely no chance that POS would be liked by me and I'm sure others feel the same. He is the AB...TO...Deion of head coaches. Zero class. Lacks maturity.
I can assure you if he led the Cowboys to a 15-2 regular season and a Super Bowl berth most on this board would love him. For fans it’s all about winning. Opposing fans hated Jimmy Johnson back in the day but we loved him. The opposition didn’t think he had any class either.

I like Sirianni. If he was our coach everyone would love him.
Disagree, this fanbase is notoriously hard on the bully loud mouth personalities. Kind of turning on Micah parsons already

Cowboys fans favorite player of all time is provably liek Darren Woodson or demarcus ware.

Didn't mean to suggest it was an absolute. However...last 17 QBs to lose their Superbowl debut never made it back for a 2nd shot.

Levels. I can assure if we went 14-3 (WAS DAL NO) and lost the superbowl like Eagles yesterday, everyone on here...led by you, would be out for blood blaming Dak and McCarthy and Quinn and Zeke. For the fumble, for not running the ball, and not sacking the QB and getting zero stops in the 2nd half. Don't pretend otherwise. Sirianno is a child.
