So y'all saying Jerry n Son are gonna trade to get a bunch of picks next year to move up for Caleb Williams?

Meh, Dallas will probably just end up with drafting Voorhees at LG, which, isn't a bad consultation.

When you have the top pick you don’t need to trade up

Who cares. I cant wait to see the great Eagles O coordinator going to Colts land fall on his face..... just like they all do until or if they land the stud QB.
Unless we are getting a different QB, all these changes with coaches wont mean jack squat.

Harriger, 39, spent 2021 as an offensive assistant coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence set franchise rookie records for completions and passing yards, while wide receiver Marvin Jones caught a team-best 73 passes.

Harriger was with the Atlanta Falcons in 2019, serving as an offensive assistant, and 2020, when he began as a game management coordinator before transitioning to running backs coach for the season’s final 12 weeks. Running back Todd Gurley ran for 678 yards with 9 TDs in 2020 and fellow running back Brian Hill rushed for a career-best 465 yards.

Before that, he spent 5 seasons (2014-18) with the Seattle Seahawks. He was an offensive assistant his first 2 seasons, then was promoted to assistant quarterbacks coach for the final 3 years. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw for 11,650 yards and 90 touchdowns during those 3 seasons, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2017 and 2018 and leading the league in passing TDs in 2017.

Shanahan's first season as coach in SF was alaos Jimmy G first season... so apparently he didnt have the same qb as the guy before him. Jimmy G wasnt elite, but he was rock solid... so Shanahan came in and immediately had a free agent qb take over his offense..... and he has coached for 6 seasons in SF.... in three of those seasons he was 6-10, 4-12, and 6-10...... hmm... kind of sounds Jason Garretish and would have you screaming for OUR coach to be fired with those results. How many SB wins doe she have in his 6 seasons?

Feels like JJ is surrounding the team with DQ's choices a year early, so when he fires McCarthy next year, Dan takes over smoothly
I’ve thought all along that the reason Quinn hasn’t been serious about leaving is a dream of being HC in Dallas. Some fans think no one wants to work for Jerry but reality is most all want to coach here

Shanahan is no doubt a quality coach. He has grown up around the NFL, always has his dads ear, is steady, never rattled... I actually love the guy, but he also proves what I have been saying forever... no matter how good your coach is, without the qb it is irrelevant. Everyone licked Billy Bellichek's boots for 20 years and as soon as golden boy Tommy left, Belichek is no better than ...............pick any of the coaches fired this year.

cmon.... Ill give Quinn credit for being smarter than the avg Joe. He knows that this will be his last chance as a Head Coach. He has to succeed, and he Knows damn well th eonly way he suceeds is if he goes somewhere that the QB situation isnt a dumoster fire. Lets look at the openings... Colts, Denver, Az, 2 others I cant remember off top of my head... everyone of them has a QB coach killer in place. So Quinn says I love it in Dallas, where I still get all the credit for wins, none of the blame for losses, paid like a head coach, and keep me in big demand as the legend of Dan Quinn grows. So he sits , waits, and prays that someone like Andy (Coat rider) Reid retires and opens up a head coach position with a real qb.

Lets see... one Phil Jackson did it after his golden boy Jordan retired. Phil went away, turned away all offers saying he didnt want to coach, and then was offered to coach a Laker team with the most dominant big man of a generation in his prime and a young Kobe Bryant just ready to enter his prime.... so sign me up for that ****.
