Galloday was a pro bowler before getting to NY and Engram had his best season ever after leaving…Jones has made the good players they had look bad.

He needs help too, but he’s in a lower tier of QBs.
 
Interesting, at least Jones is not regressing like another QB I know. Facts.

Elite talent??? Schultz is elite? That’s a take. Cooper was elite? Gallup elite? That’s also a take. Lamb borders on elite and that just started this year. TB and McGovern and Steele and Williams elite? Smith was elite but he is always hurt but I guess you think he is elite on IR. Zeke’s been elite all this time? Who knew?

Dallas having elite talent across the board on offense is pretty funny.
 
Aint no way you can take your two eyeballs and say that Jones and Dak are equal or that Jones is better

forget stats...Jones is no better than Taylor Heinicke ok he might be a tad bit better than Heinicke

And this is coming from someone who thinks if Dak doesnt win it in the next 2 years should be released

Engram was constantly banged up as was Golliday. More importantly their o line has been trash until last season when it was a bit better and low and behold they could run the ball a bit and Jones could make a few throws. Barkley has missed countless games as well. The difference in quality between the Giants and Cowboys over the past 7 years or so isn't comparable. As mentioned before, the Cowboys went 5-1 over the past two seasons with a practice squad QB. That basically says it all.

Has Jones had 2-3 future hall of fame offensive lineman blocking for him? Over the 7 years Prescott has been quarterback of the Cowboys the level of quality around him is on a completely different level. The Giants have had some pretty good receivers but it has been irrelevant because the o line was paper thin. We all remember how badly Prescott plays with a banged up o line - Jones has had a gash line for years until this season when it was just about serviceable in some games. If Prescott was drafted in the 4th round by the Giants then he wouldn't even be in the league next season.

I’ll be honest — I didn’t pay much attention to Jones’ numbers last season. Am I reading his stat line right — 15 passing TDs in 16 games?

Crazy part is 15 looks to be a season high since 2019.
 
Just watch the real Daniel Jones everytime he plays the Eagles. He was awful in the playoff game against them. He had one decent season and getting 40 million. Good for us and the Eagles.

Dak had one of the leagues best OLs, RB and WR corps for several years and yet still has only won a couple of wildcard games.
