Going to stick with my fa projection during this week's post:

Resigned: Hankins, Rush
Not Resigned: Shultz, Noah Brown, McGovern, Lve, Wilson, Anthony Brown
Veteran Cuts-Zeke
OBJ WR, Wagner LB, Peterson CB, Gay PK

Mock Draft-I see this team going back to more of that 2016 run first mold.

1-Darnell Washington TE-Georgia (Not my top TE, but is an excellent piece to kickstart our rushing attack)
2-Zach Charbonnet RB-UCLA (Might be a little high to take a power back, but really like his fit replacing Zeke)
3-Juluis Brents CB/S Kansas State (Fits that Dan Quinn profile and is very physical)
4-Jonathan Mingo WR Ole Miss (He is that big X receiver, in the Dez Bryant mold)
5a-Trey Dean III S Florida (Will compete to become the starting SS to replace Wilson)
5b-Jared Clark NT Coastal Carolina (Adds depth behind Hankins)
5c-Max Duggan QB TCU (Cowboys have shown a lot of interest with him)
6-Andrew Vorhees G USC (Draft and stash after tearing his acl)
7-Mekhi Gardner CB LSU (Another Dan Quinn type of Corner)

I am on board for the Washington pick.i watched some more highlights and he runs all the routes,he looks like he is lumbering on some of them but it doesnt matter because he can catch over any defender in the NFL.I dont want to spend a 5th on Duggan though.

I like this draft a lot except for 1 pick, and that's the 4.75 running safety.

Donovan Wilson ran a slower time at the combine. Not worried so much about speed for a safety, it's a position that requires instincts.

If he's a box Safety sure. Let me watch his tape.

Pretty good overall

-Gotta draft or sign a guard. This leaves us starting Farniok at LG or Ball at RT if/when Tyron (or anyone) misses games.

-I’d prefer Kincaid or Mayer over Washington. I don’t see high upside in Washington as a receiving target, even if he is a good overall player.

-Love the player, but kinda doubt Brents gets to the late 3rd. Would be a great pick there tho

Wagner and OBJ ? You are an optimist for sure. I don’t see Mingo dropping to round 4. Brents checks a lot of boxes but seems like more of a zone corner.

We didn’t attend OBJ’s workout so we can probably remove him form the FA wishlist.

Good draft. I’d much rather Jake Haener than Duggan, though. Max couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn at the combine.

Means nothing, they already did their ground work in him and have his medicals.
Personally I would want to see that workout. Medicals only part of it. And there is obviously going to be a lot of competition for his services. You really get a warm feeling that Jerry will provide the best offer ? Color me skeptical.

This is the one position they have paid big for in the past. If they fail to sign him, confident they will go get someone similar. Both Jerry/Stephen have mentioned needing another big piece to their offense.
