He has three years left on his contract at (base salary + roster bonuses) $14.5, 14 and 14. If we added two voidable years, we could push most of his 2023 cap into future years. Say a 2023 base of $2 million and the other $12.5 as a signing bonus prorated at $2.5 over 5 years. Would he be a receiver that meets our needs?

Upgrade? Yes , he is

A stationary cone is an upgrade

However, I’d like to see us acquire a better WR

Maybe I'm naive, but I can't see how the Cowboys can bring in another high dollar WR. They could have had an easy out of the Gallup deal after this year before the restructure, but that's changed. They need to pay Lamb either this year or next. I'm not sure they can commit to another big money wr though 2025.

Do you have a link for that? I want to send it to a buddy who is a bronco fan, lol.

Are they giving us a pick with him ?

Big money money wont kick in on any Lamb until 2025, and 2026 is probably they year he has a big cap hit

I thought he already agreed with someone? At least there were reports. Did it fall through?

I'd love to scoop him up. Still young and like Judy has been a victim of system and qb. Russ was trash this year as well.

We already have Sutton, his name is Gallup. Neither ever recovered from there ACL injuries.
That’s a good comparison
Sutton had 60 some catches last year but in over 100 targets. He had 9 drops and less than 60% catch pct. He’s basically Gallup with more targets and worse hands

Need a better oline. Recievers is secondary. All we need is a capable #3

Have you watched him play over his career? We need a 2nd or 3rd wr. Sutton would be great.

Gallup isn’t really high dollar though is he?
