I think Jerry is looking pretty smart these days!

The eagles made all that noise last year, to have to let go of so many players, add slay to the mix. The Rams going through the same. All of this comes from spending big, sure it looks good, makes the fans go wild. In the end, how long can you keep a team built this way??

Side note: We all know the eagles make a surprise move every season, let's just wait to see what happens! Lol
They did better then us for 27 years and counting. You think most Cowboy fans would like to continue to do it the Jerry way or what the Rams and Eagles did if it results in a Superbowl??

Again with another thread about this. Eagles are still going to be good next year. Let's talk about how smart Jerry is when they get to an NFC championship game let alone a super bowl. If it's another wild card exit or divisional round then no that's not better than getting to super bowl. You want this front office to sit back now or make some more moves that will make them the favorite for the next 2 years?

Until he gets a stud DT he’s a moron.

What if it is a digital clock? Are there any regular clocks anymore?
Does anyone use a regular watch. Most just look at their phones.
my god you don’t understand the joke. Lol

A digital clock stuck on 12 is till right twice a day.

I think Jerry's still trying to get beyond the divisional round sometime this century. Results are measured in January/February, not March/April.

The only reason for Jerry looking smart is half his face is probably paralyzed. It kind of makes him seem contemplative, you know, that distance expression smart people seem to have all the time.

I'm just not going to say anything and let you enjoy your opinion of Jerry today.

Cheers

If it means that you win a SB, I have no issue with a couple of down years while you rebuild.

It is….if he plays like last year.

He is strangely inconsistent in a few ways….and you basically have to expect him to miss about 12-15 of the 34 games he signed up for.

That said, I’m surprised there wasn’t a better market for him, but maybe not everyone wants to pack up and leave town for a few extra million when you’re already set.

We’ve had a nice couple of days.
If the money is the same or close, most players would choose to play/stay here... and why wouldn't you? I live in the same area as most of the players do. The weather is great, exemplary schools and wonderful quality of life. Plus, no state income tax!

this smart? gave a contract with a no-trade clause in it. Keep Jason useless Garrett for 10 years. this guy?
Agree... without that clause that probably would have been a deal breaker for his agent and client. That doesn't mean that they can't trade him. Just means that agent/client must approve the team/trade.

Both of those team have represented in the Superbowl and even have won it. How many have we been in the last 25 years?

It's been more of a mixed bag IMO.

At this stage of their careers, Gilmore is better than Patrick Peterson and is a better bargain than Jalen Ramsey, so that looks like a shrewd move.

On the other hand, it looks like Jerry grossly miscalculated the RB market (again). The top FA backs are getting $4-6M avg per year deals this off-season.

You can't convince me Tony Pollard coming of a very late season ending injury would have commanded $10M on the open market.

Just as Jerry shouldn't get all the blame when our team falls short during the season, neither should he get all the credit. These decisions aren't solely made by Jerry. Stephen, McCarthy and the coordinators have a big say so on what they need and want. Even McClay inputs on free agents.

Jerry? Its Stephen running things. Jerry hasn't a clue. Jerry was either playing possum the other day when he was interviewed when he said we basically are 2 poor to make any signings because of Dak, or he knew absolutely zilch and is out of the loop. I think its the latter. I mean I guess its possible he was playing it very coy in the interview and if thats the case, he did a helluva sales job.

Didn't you say just the opposite last week about Jerry? Flip/flop much?
