Where will Zeke up?

The only thing meaningful in that article?
The Bills are looking for a big back

Zeke, if he has anything left, would be a good compliment to Ekeler. And the Chargers need to keep Herbert upright in the passing game, especially since Moore is there now.

As a Charger fan I'd hate that beyond words. And I don't see it.

I keep saying it but will do so again: fans are going to be surprised how close to the end of his career Zeke is. He's not gonna get much more than $2 mil, if he even gets that. If he plays in '23 it will be his last season.

Probably back with us at a lower rate. I'm going to guess he got a wink and nod from Jerry with this where he's getting "cut" but they probably have a deal placed. The cut probably had to happen first for him to receive the paycut he was after.
This is actually a very good point.

Some players take it as an insult if you want them to take a paycut so they will have the team release them and then sign back later on a cheaper deal.

I think this is what is going to happen with Zeke...........................he is going to be back in Dallas this season, that is why the team has not even tried to sign a vet RB yet.

As a Team with potential interest in a new HB you have to ask yourself:

"Do I need an RB that gets me 3 yards on 3 and 4?". Then Zeke's your man and you better pay him generously.

He'll end up with the Buccaneers . Skip Peete is in Tampa. Bucs just released Fournette. It all adds up. Maybe.
Worse places to play than TB. Great city, with beautiful weather, is near the ocean and has no state income tax. Would rather go there than sub-temps in Buffalo.

They will draft a RB... probably 4th rd. This draft is loaded with good RB's. I want a QB drafted in the 2nd or 3rd.

I'm a Zeke fan, but cutting him was the right move.

What I don''t get is the Zeke hate even now he's gone. The guy literally gave his all every single snap he played for us. He was immature off the field early in his career, but he grew up and stopped the nonsense.

I've never seen a featured back pick up the blitz better than Zeke did. He could have been a diva considering the money he was making, but he still did the dirty work. So many times there were 3 defenders meeting him in the backfield because of our scheme. That had to be frustrating but I never heard him complain.

When it was obvious last year that Pollard was the better back, he praised him and was always one of the first to meet him after a big play. He could have whined about his touches and that he could do the same, but he never did. He was the ultimate team guy in my books.

Again, we made the right move. But I will be a Zeke fan as long as he's not playing us. I hope he has a great year on a team that will have a chance to win it all.

My thought the minute he was released was he ends up as a short yardage back in Buffalo or Philly.

Reality is going to hit hard for Zeke, as it does for many fading players.

He's not gonna get the interest and offers he expects.
Who said he's expecting them? Seems like Zeke has known for a while that his body hasn't been what it was so I doubt he expects a big payday somewhere. Someone is going to snag him as a short yardage and goalline back though.

I’ve been saying similar things about Zeke. There’s nothing he brings as a runner at this point that an average running back couldnt do.

I don’t think he sniffs 10,000 yards for his career.
