Jesus this dumb debate...the Cowboys let Rush test his worth, GM's of the league weighed in, this debate is over..he is a backup. I dont care what side of the Dak war you are on, Rush is not a starting QB in this league..he just isnt.

He makes the defense play better..WTH what is he a suedo DC helping Quinn but only when he is the starting QB?

I'm sorry Mike, using this show as a reference does not help any argument.
Have you seen his arguments? The guy doesnt have one. Look above. "A real possibility" lol. The guy is delusional. Dak could throw 14 picks and no TDs and Rush still wouldnt start. Jerry wouldnt allow it.

I don’t hate Dak - I just look forward to the day we turn the page and bring a new quarterback - even if it is Cooper Rush for a while.
So you dont hate Dak you would just literally rather watch a QB that couldnt start for any NFL team instead?

Here is a serious question for anyone who regularly watches Undisputed.

Have they ever aired a segment dedicated on a backup quarterback? I mean a real backup quarterback. Not referring to former quarterbacks who were drafted as projected starters for a franchise early in their career and THEN became a backup like an Andy Dalton. I'm talking about quarterbacks like Cooper Rush, backups who only start whenever the starter gets hurt and no team wants him as a starter when he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

I could be wrong but I'm betting the answer is no. Typical talking sports head click-bait filler put together just because Dallas was involved.

It will likely never happen but one day I hope Skip Bayless will say something so utterly ignorant and incendiary that Shannon Sharpe's brain will turn completely off. Then he'll walk over to Bayless, pick him up like a twig and and snap him over his knee.

Now THAT's an episode of Undisputed I would be eager to watch.

I watched him go, five and one
So did 32 NFL GM's and literally non of them thought "This guy is a starter in this league" not even for 3mill a year. There are teams that dont have their Starting QB on the team right now and they didnt even want him to come compete for the job at 3 mill a year....

W/L are not a QB stat. Sorry to break it to you.

Go look at the offensive numbers. You do hate dak. This entire thread reeks of it. I watched Tim Tebow in Florida. Because his team was absolutely stacked. Put Rush on a team like Houston and see how bad he looks. Dak would look bad too. What you are failing to realize is that when Rush won those 4 games last year the D was playing out of its mind. Like the number 1 defense in football. When Cooper rush won that game the year before. It took a bobbling sideline catch by Amari. Just stop with this nonsense already. 31 other teams looked at Rush and not 1 even offered him a backup position. My god some of the takes here are incredible.

This team needs to move on from Dak. Yes.
Will they? No.
Can you knock Dak for his game and his brain dead mistakes? Yes
Do you need to create dumb threads like this to do so? No.

That may be true....but QB's get a great deal of blame and credit. Dak is no exception.

Marino, for example...."never won a super bowl". Remember anyone else from those teams?

I agree 100 percent.

My entire point of that was to point out. Stupid threads like this arent needed to call Dak out. He gives you enough ammo with his play. No need to start a thread about if Rush is going to start over Dak and thats why they kept him lol

Do the Cowboys see Rush as the starter in a bridge role next year?

We take a QB this year - Like the kid from Tennessee and - we buy Dak out - Rush starts next year ( and maybe beyond ) at a super low cap hit: while the young QB marinates .

Would you be shocked if Rush is stating by week 5,6 if Dak starts terribly ?

Skip Bayless thinks we have a gem In Rush - maybe he’s right for once in his life.
The fact this conversation is still being had is flat out insane. Cooper Rush is nothing than a backup and there realistically is not a way out of the Dak deal for 2 more seasons.
