Legalizing weed did not create homeless drug addicts. But it is still illegal in some states.
Anyway, I don't know. I used to think that making drug use legal would end all the drug wars and violence. Now I see what is happening in those west coast cities on the news with all the homeless drug addicts. That is no way to live and as a good people we should not allow our fellow human beings to live in such suffering. It is not the "Christian thing" to do. Our society needs to move away from the legalization of drugs. And NFL players should not be promoting drug use!
Just my opinion.
Actually, most, if not all schools, high schools, and colleges have anti-drug promotions but they don't test their staff/employees for drugs. If the nfl is involved in any anti drug promotions, I would say no. They do a lot of promotions in schools and stuff
How did you get from your first point to you second point?I used to think that making drug use legal would end all the drug wars and violence. Now I see what is happening in those west coast cities on the news with all the homeless drug addicts.

I used to think this too, but it was brought to my attention that the NFL never tested for weed for legal reasons. It was never the NFL’s responsibility to make sure players are following certain laws; they don’t keep track of license plate stickers or investigate tax fraud or monitor the purchase of Chinese knockoff products. But it is still illegal in some states.
Look at what it did to John Mayer! But it is still illegal in some states.

I've got a couple of friends who went through the same thing. They thought legalizing it would be harmless, but the repercussions were much worse than they had thought. But it is still illegal in some states.

The testing and punishment of marijuana is specifically for performance benefit concerns, and that is an outdated setup from the 70s and 80s. They don’t even test for it during the season anymore. Compare it to Ayahuasca. Ayahuasca is illegal in the USA, but Aaron Rodgers will never fail a drug test over it because the nfl doesn’t perceive it as a performance enhancing drug.
Drug use isn’t legal in California. Maybe you need to understand the specifics before pontificating. But it is still illegal in some states.

No, I understand it’s not legal to smoke weed in some states, but it’s not the NFL’s responsibility to enforce federal or state laws. The specific reason they do drug tests is for fair play, which is in question as to whether it actually gives anyone an upper hand there.Drug use isn’t legal

In American in generalIt's time to end the crusade against cheeba in the NFL.
