I think the top 3 receivers will be gone by 26. The question is do you think Hyatt/Johnston is better then McDonald/Forbes/Musgrave/Avila.

Hyatt has been rising, he's been falling, now that more people have eyes on it. I like things about them both. And the things they lack are things you can work with. Like, I think some NFL training could increase his seed some, although some increase more than others. Still, that's not terrible speed anyway.

Right now, the prospects of Hyatt being a little better prospect seems a little more likely.
 
In my opinion, you have to look harder in this draft at the WRs.

True, there aren't an abundant amount of so-called #1s. But several of these guys will have productive NFL careers.

Two of my favorite later round picks are Andrei Iosivas and Jalen Moreno Cropper.

In one mock draft, I was torn between taking Vorhees in the 5th or Cropper.. I tried to land Cropper in the 6th and he didn't make it, so I took Iosivas instead, who has his own reasons for being a decent prospect.

I've said this before. This isn't the most awe inspiring WR draft as far as prototypes. But there are some good players coming out this year.

Vast majority are in later rounds, and positional value is pushing much of that (14)

Hyatt is not a top 10 player! At some point perhaps you will start listen to some national folks (Jeremiah, PFF, Dane B etc) to at least attain orbit around Planet Possibility.

You keep coming up with wild bold declarations that are built of nothing but homespun straw.

Hyatt has no play strength. Can't cut. Little YAC ability. With Vols he's never needed beat press coverage (which is likely to be a huge challenge). Has never shown he can run more than 3 or 4 routes! Notably he refused to test on 3-cone, which would expose a big limitation.

Hyatt is fast, decent height, can track with good hands. NFL defenses are too smart and athletic to let him get deep much, and that's about all Hyatt has.

Stretching the defense has value, so middle/late 2nd round makes sense.

On top of that it’s silly how they will now say this player is climbing up draft boards, draft boards that where never built yet lol. All your gonna here is how him and Drew Sanders are amazingly heating up and will both become 1st rounders when your pff had them rated in the middle of the 2nd round.
 
No blue chippers this year but still good
depth.

I wouldn’t take any of these guys in the top 15 but some really good options at the end of the 1st where we are.

To be fair it looks as if the Cowboy's are looking for the right RECEIVER, whereas your good self is looking for the best WIDE RECEIVER. You're looking at this from the positional value perspective, whereas at 26 there may well be a better receiving option at TE or RB.

As ive said before I think we're REALLY HIGH on one (or possibly two) of the WR's.....but there's such a discrepancy between the skillsets (which is identified in variance expert's Big Boards) I dont think we'll go WR at all costs.

I think they’re being more open to different types this year seeing as they’ve met with most of the 1st round guys. If WR is the BPA at a value position cool, if not, also cool.

I could get on board with Kincaid but not a big fan of any of the other TEs at 26.

And RB is going to be a hard firm no.
