Keep drafting OL

I don't think they will outright ignore it, but I don't think they will take one until either the 3rd or 4th. Guard I mean or an OT that coverts to G, that might be a 2nd rounder. maybe.

We play in a division with 3 of the very best D-lines in the whole league. If we can’t stand up to that we are going to have problems
I agree. And factor in that we’ve lost our last two starting left guards in back-to-back years in free agency. Say what you will about the players, they were the Cowboys’ starters.

And Tyron Smith is running on fumes. Who knows how much you can get out of him at this point?

And the starting center is due to hit free agency next year? Do you pay or quit?

Oh, and your RT - while making great progress - is coming back from a major knee injury.

I see plenty of good reasons to continue to invest.

I expect to see one of a trio of positions in the first three rounds based on value of OL, RB, and TE.

Here's a semi-interesting question. Do you think they value G or DE more in those top rounds? I think that is a realization I had only in the last week.

If Darnell Wright falls to us then he is your guy. Put him at LG and we will be set on the left side (Smith and Wright) for a decade.

Based on the current roster? I’d have to think Guard.

They have at least 4 pass rushers at the moment. But we can’t even say for certain who the current left guard is.

I think then the question becomes what’s your better LT/LG combination between Wright and Smith?

Once Bijan Robinson goes off the board I'll be all aboard the OL train.

I think for the first round it would be more valuable to select a DL (Bresee, Mazi) than an OL, and I think in the second or third round they can select an OL or 2, they are going to face tough defenses, and they need healthy OL, but I think also the cowboys should consider signing G Dalton Risner,

If they got a guy who can play all three positions on the interior and one really well, then I'm happy. I think we've got enough players who can play tackle.

Unless somebody rated way higher unexpectedly falls, I would sit there and draft Darnell Wright or OCyreus Torrence and plug them in at LG. Tyler Smith and one of those 2 on the left side for the next 8-10 years.

Honestly, this is probably a safe fallback. Good options in Bergeron, Avila, Tippmann who will all likely be available.
