ESPN going on a firing spree

Apparently Todd McShay was let go as well. Also Steve Young, Jalen Rose and Matt Hasselbeck.
McShay is a bad cut, IMO. I always thought he was a good analyst and how much can he possibly cost? He's a draft guy so he appears on TV like 3 months out of the year?

I also liked Hasselbeck.

Probably could have kept Hasselbeck and McShay just by letting Kiper go. Nobody would have cared but I imagine Kiper's long-standing tenure has some nice built-in buyouts if he's ever dropped so may as well keep him.

Don't plan on it. Just a guy that causally watches TV. With or without either, I'm still going to watch the draft. Don't even pay attention to what the commentators are saying.

I used to love watching the morning shows and would watch every day. I have had enough of the loud and annoying personalities like Mad Dog, SAS and Kellerman has become more annoying to watch and listen to along with Greenie. Admittedly I am not an NBA fan so the last couple of months I have pretty much tuned out, but come NFL season lots of watching. Will see how this shakes out but the biases of the announcers has also become too much

Instead of Kolber, Young, Van Gundy, McShay, etc., get rid of SAS, Bayless, Shady McCoy, etc.
Skip has not been on ESPN since he was with SAS.
He left and went to fox.

ESPN will keep SAS because he gets the clicks and views and they just gave Pat Mcf a huge contract.

I am curious how much McShays contract is compared to Kipers though.
