Me too, I hate them even more than our 3 division rivals. I was surprised when he said - they are quickly becoming his least favorite - Ive been there for decades, lol. I will never forget- THE CATCH. Heartbreaking
 
That's not how I read it. Young was just talking about the state of both teams based on last season.

One coach is innovative, while the other team is running 2015 plays and don't have a chance. That was referring to last year. You make the call based on that for this year.

Steve Young retired in 1999. He doesn't know 2015 plays from 2030 plays.

I 100% agree. Just because they were good QBs don't mean they know squat. You may expect them to, but how many times do we need to see bad takes from former QBs?

Do you remember draft coverage by Ron Jaworski regarding two quarterbacks I can't remember. He said there was a delta between the two, and he got it backwards. I can't for the life of me remember which QBs. This goes to show that even a SB QB can get it totally wrong. And they often do.
 
We need to have the dominant team and we can win. Dak isn't putting us over the top. Dak and the Cowboys can win when we're at home with the better team.

I can care less what he has to say. It is no worse than what is posted on here 25 times a day or more.

Suzy Kolber was let go as well. That was more of a shocker. At least she used to be a Dallas fan, before ESPN got in her brain. Maybe she still is somewhat.
 
Of course I expect Steve Young to be biased, just as I expect Troy Aikman to be biased. The Niners-Cowboys was a great rivalry back in the day…old feelings die hard.
I don’t think Young said anything inflammatory; he is right, Shanahan is a great offensive mind and is an innovator.
 
I don't detect much of a homer angle from former Cowboys players like Aikman and Moose who are now bigtime broadcasters, but I can't say same for Steve Young. Maybe just the homer in me, but feel like he is always down on the Cowboys. Feels like he still stings from all the losses to our Boys. Nice decision ESPN. :thumbdown:

Any coach that can get to the NFCCG using 3 different QB's in the same year is pretty darn good.
Of course having a great defense can be a tremendous help.

It is what Dallas will need to get to help to that point this year.
