Steve Young is a total weirdo.

I still remember his locker room speech after he finally won the superbowl. I've never seen a more awkward, cringe-worthy spectacle. I just imagine his own teammates rolling their eyes behind his back whenever he tried to give a "rah rah golly gee let's go win this thing fellas" speech. Even Kirk Cousins thinks Steve Young is uncool.

That said....he might be a complete cheesy dork....but he isn't wrong in this case.

Unless San Francisco’s defense continues to play lights out, they could drop off this season because I’m not sold on their QB situation. The jury is still out on Brock Purdy who’s coming off an injury and Trey Lance hasn’t looked very good. They’ve had trouble keeping their QBs healthy.
