This is another example supporting the irrelevance of preseason games in the OWNERS' eyes. NFLPA members are giving them reasons why more games should be tacked onto the regular season by subtracting them from the preseason slate.

"McCarthy has emphasized player owner of the offense" ...........Love this. This has been my biggest (only) issue with Dak. He sometimes tends to run bad calls from the sideline even though he knows the chances of them working are min. In other words, there are times I would like to him take more ownership of the offense, don't just run a bad call from the sideline coz the coach called it. Remember Sean Payton once saying how Drew Brees saved his _____ many times after sending in bad plays

I love that McCarthy is allowing Dak to get this experience. It completely achieves the goal of player ownership of the offense and gives Dak a new perspective on what it's like to be in McCarthy's shoes. We will need MM and Dak to be seeing eye to eye during the regular seasons.
