Both offenses were hampered terribly by tonight's weather. The defense was phenomenal. Can't recall another performance like that in recent years.

I doubted us getting the W tonight.
I mistakenly thought the potential loss of both Smiths, being away, bad weather and a seemingly improved Giants roster would be too much for us in an opener.
(We usually lose openers)
Man, am I happy to have been wrong **.

That said, our boys were hitting HARD all night. Even the 2nd stringers. Wrapping up instead of the arm tackle stuff that we've seen for years.

I think they will definitely take credit away from Dallas because the Giants were unbelievably bad and it is probably deserved but we still handled business, so who cares?....It's a good sign if we can destroy obviously inferior teams.
