A little disappointed in this player

It is nonsense that you think "touch" has anything to do with drops. A totally ridiculous assertion.

Tell me where that ball to Hendershot in the endzone was supposed to be? You can't actually throw a ball any better than that.
Hendershot . . . Hendershot . . . Hendershot

Are we focused on the team having success or just Dak getting his stats?
I'm focused on all of it. Apologies if you don't like the phrasing but it's the truth. It cost Dak a TD. I want my QB feeling good about himself AND about his receivers and after that performance I don't think that was the case. The tight ends let him down but I'm going to chalk it up to the rain for now.

Yes it does. It was catchable, and it was a drop. That's the definition of a drop.

How do you even make an excuse for that? A drop is a drop.

Tell me how something like this is because of how "catchable" the ball is.

Hilarious . . . You Dak fans got those videos on Copy and Paste

Poor poor Dak . . . We need him to feel good. . . I don't feel good if Dak don't feel good . . .

That 1 pass to Hendershot does not prove or disqualify the Fact Dark dors not t throw a catchable ball

1 Question (and I am sure I could search for the truthful answer)

How many times in the last 8 seasons have you made an excuse for Dak because the WR dropped the Ball?
How does a guy have like a 67% completion rate for his career when he "does not throw a catchable ball?" He literally has one of the highest career completion percentages in the history of football. If you're going to spout something as a fact at least make it something that is not in direct opposition to the ACTUAL facts.

Jake Ferguson.

Yes, I know the weather was affecting the abilities of receivers.

But he had a couple of drops that were simple easy catches.

Hopefully it was just the rain causing the drops.
his problem along with the one turpin dropped is they don't secure the ball before they start running. it wasn't necessarily the rain.
Ferguson turned his head and was going upfield before the ball was secure in his hands. in NFL they teach you, eyes on the ball, secure the ball, then you run. make the catch first before you start thinking about additional yards. he has to fix that.

You throwing out a Completion percentage stat does not prove that Dak does not throw a catchable ball. . . All the drops over the years by multiple Wrs is a Fact you want to ignore

Did you work for Buzzfeed OP?

That being said, I was too.

Click here to find out the player that disappointed me, as well. YOU WOULD NEVER GUESS WHO IT IS.

He was taking his eyes off the ball too soon….considering Dak’s love for throwing to TE’s we can’t afford drops like that.

Meh, aggravated me at the time but I'll give them a pass considering the outcome and conditions

I immediately missed Schultz

The Giants and Cowboys both were dropping balls. I think the rain was a much bigger factor than we could tell on TV. I'm not putting much stock in the offensive performance last night in general. Ferguson will be fine. I will say I am excited for Schoonmaker to step in and take over that starting job though. He brings top shelf athleticism and size to the position that we have lacked for some time.

I don't know if that one bugs me as much as the one in the corner of the end zone where initially I thought the DBs broke it up but it turned out that neither of the DBs touched the ball and it basically him in the face. And of course the goal line drop by Hendershot cost Dak another TD. The tight ends decidedly underwhelmed last night. But I expect them all the get better as the season goes along.
Jackie Smith is a HOF TE.

Selective memory, Schultz dropped everything lol

The Hendershot drop in the endzone and the Ferguson drop on 3rd and 8 in the redzone made Dak's day a lot worse than it really was, I think.
Schultz has 15 career drops on over 300 targets
