A little disappointed in this player

Yes it does. It was catchable, and it was a drop. That's the definition of a drop.

How do you even make an excuse for that? A drop is a drop.

Tell me how something like this is because of how "catchable" the ball is.

This is why we were all pro Stephens over Hendershot.

I just don’t see it with him.

Of course He was . . . You don't pass on complete TEs . . . They are hard to find

Yeah good point, in the modern NFL it's not easy to find a guy who can block as well. Most these guys have become glorified WRs. That or they are basically Tackles with no real athleticism to impact the passing game.

Yea, not true.
5% drop rate, without filtering out catchable balls, is horrible.

It is even worse considering the volume of short, easy catches manufactured in the offense that any warm body could catch.

There was nothing to "corral" though....the passes were right in their hands.
Didn’t mean that as in the passes were off target, it was just a rainy slick day where both teams saw poor ball security.

My point is there’s not some ominous butterfinger illness that has stricken the TE room. They just had trouble catching the ball on a bad weather day, simple cause and effect.

It was so frickin' strange how people started hating Schultz. In this case, strange means dumb.
Not strange at all. He was a "pretty decent" tight end making top 5 money. That never sits well with the fan base. As for me you know I never care about how much a guy makes.. I just want him to play well. I would have been fine keeping Schultz around but I understand the team thinking it could get more out of the younger guys.

Jake Ferguson.

Yes, I know the weather was affecting the abilities of receivers.

But he had a couple of drops that were simple easy catches.

Hopefully it was just the rain causing the drops.
NO concerned in the least. If you know weather, then why are you acting like you dont?

In the pre game Babe Laughenberg said that “we were going to miss Dalton Shultz because our current group was not close to his level.” I rolled my eyes and disagreed. But he was 100% correct.

I'm really hoping the drops were because of the weather.

It is difficult to catch a Dak pass in dry conditions . . . Ferguson will be fine
I thought a huge warning went out yesterday that accounts would be benched if this type of derailment took place. Y’all are gonna keep it up and then cry when it happens.

many players dropped or fumbled the ball.

happens in a rainstorm.

The drops were disappointing, but that was probably the best blocking by TEs in a game with Cowboys since Witten and Hanna played together.

No excuses do you have two hands? Then you should catch everything thrown your way. :)
