TNF: Lions at Packers

Wouldn't have been trying to pass on 3rd and 8 up by 17 at this point. Last thing you want is your QB getting hit.

Maybe that will be the game the Bears will decide to play football, against Washington.

Love Sucks
J. Geils predicted it decades ago.

Looks like the North belongs to the Lions this year. Their fans have been waiting a long time for that.

I'm honestly happy for their fans. They've suffered a long time for this moment. They have not hosted a playoff game since 1993 (https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/det/playoffs.htm) when they lost 28-24 to the Packers in the Wildcard round. For reference, this was on 8 January, 1993. I was less than two weeks old.

Lions going too conservative too early.
I was watching it at work and thought so too. I'm not saying this is the reason, but it looked like they didn't trust their quarterback. That's the impression I got. For the reason you mentioned.
