Money! He’s going to want to get paid and we got some big contracts coming up with CeeDee and Parsons. The Cowboys are already paying Pollard just over $10 million on the franchise tag. They’re not about to hand out a big contract to an RB who’s coming off a down year after a huge season in 2021. Especially not after finally being done with Zeke’s contract. We waste our second round picks anyways why wouldn't we do this?
What!?! We need to draft ANOTHER TE in the 2nd round in 2024.... Comeon! We waste our second round picks anyways why wouldn't we do this?
if he can put the team over the top this year who cares about letting him walk in the offseason and losing the pick, we were going to waste it anyway.Money! They would be better served trading for oline or lb help before doing this , we Have more than enough at rb and even though he would be an upgrad, it wouldn't be incrementally as much as other positionsIf we're serious about contending they'd do this

Why not trade the second. Try and go all the way this year and let him go in FA for a very high comp pick. Kind of like Philly is doing with Swift.
Yup. If I’m Jerry I’m on the phone. You’ll end up getting a 3rd rounder from him leaving in FA anyways. So you’re not losing much.No brsiner to do this. We usually waste 2nds anyways
Because we're probably not going to have a high 2nd round pick.We waste our second round picks anyways why wouldn't we do this?

That makes perfect sense. But that doesn't mean only bad teams have high second round picks. The Eagles have the Saints 2nd round pick. Green Bay, which is kind of a fringe team, has the Jets second round pick.Nobody with a "high second" would likely trade anyway. What obviously losing team is looking to make a deal for a rb? They need to just accept a 2nd and move forward.
True. But neither one of those teams are trading for Taylor. Its wishful thinking at this point for a 2ndThat makes perfect sense. But that doesn't mean only bad teams have high second round picks. At this point I would agree. But lets see what the NFL looks like closer to the trade deadline. If everything stays the same, I don't see Taylor going anywhere. But if some of the better teams around the league lose their starting RB, they may offer a late 2nd rounder. Especially the Eagles. If they lose Swift, you can count on Taylor being an Eagle.True. Wouldn’t need to. You’re getting a 3rd comp anywaysIf he is still healthy, then I would do this, at end of season, you can decide who u want, pollard or taylor, then if possible
trade one of them and get the 2nd back lol.
