Broncos releasing Randy Gregory

Thank god Stephen Jones messed that signing up. Would have wasted money on him.

Did they "try"? Or did they try to save face? Because I've rarely seen Jerry not sign someone who he truly wanted to re-sign. Except Nnamndi Asomugha. He seemed to genuinely be hurt about him not signing. This team did not seemed phased by Gregory leaving and to add clauses last minute shows they didn't want to sign him. But it's the same "honest offer" they offered Von Miller that resulted in nothing.

The guy wasn't a bad player when on that field. All of these "I Told You So's" nobody even saw how good or bad he was in Denver lol. I'm sure he didn't live up to his contract but they didn't offer him that deal because he was a bad player.
 
I wouldn’t be surprised if we brought him back. Just make him a designated pass rusher.

Injury prone, off the field distractions, didn't live up to his first or second round talent when on the field. You like Randy Gregory for other reasons, you're just afraid to admit it.

He is a loser who got lucky having natural athetlic talent. He'd be a bum otherwise.

Unless bleeding heart Jerry comes out, why would they in their right minds do this? They spent 5 years giving him numerous chances and he all but spit in their face over some wording in a freakin' contract.

I never said I liked Gregory when the sky is falling crowd were crying about losing him in free agency I had to talk you guys off the edge and told you he would be released in the next 2 or 3 years.

You like Randy Gregory for "other reasons"...guess those reasons are the same reasons you hate him? :laugh: ;)

The irony of calling him a loser though....you're the guy who took joy in Kobe Bryant dying on an Airplane crash with his daughter....you're not one to really talk about what a loser is.

Yeah I can see maybe if someone got hurt. But I don't think he'd be our 5th or 6th best pass rusher but I do think he'd be our 5th or 6th best end. He probably rushes the passer better than Dorance Armstrong but he's not the player Armstrong is. And in regards to guys like Fowler....not the pass rusher Fowler is. So yeah I don't really see the fit right now but I admittedly haven't watched much of Gregory aside from the Commander game. Shockingly that was his best game to date.

I have actual legitimate reasons to dislike Gregroy.

Him being a millionaire and making up BS rather than admitting he has lack of self-control. I dislike him as a player because he couldn't stay on the field and when he was on the field he was spotty and didn't live up to the talent that kept him around. I hate him because he was a bonified loser but also showed himself to be ungrateful by spitting in the hand that was lent to him when he didn't deserve multiple chances.

Crap like this degrades the star. Bums like him have no place on the Cowboys. He should have been immediately cut in 2017.

Also no, I mourned the people who died with Kobe while not giving a crap about Kobe. There is a difference. Nice try.
 
Broncos gave him $28M guaranteed in 2022 on a 5-year contract. Looks like $16M dead cap hit next year. Ouch.

I wonder when the Broncos finally dump QB Russell Wilson.

Might as well dump all the loser contracts and eat the dead cap and get it over with.

Yeah we know what "reasons" you hate him. I'm not going to go back and forth with you. Same reasons you hate him are the same reasons you gloated when Kobe died on that airplane crash. I honestly thought you got a lifetime ban from here after that charade.
