What's the story, he got picked and sucked?
It's another of the coaching problems. A player like Deuce should never be in for pass protection, and should also not be given runs like a traditional RB. That kind of player only works when you design plays to get them the ball in space so they can use their speed and quickness. Asking Deuce to pass protect makes as much sense as asking Turpin to pass protect.

yeah, why can't we have more feel-good stories? A one-legged kid who runs a 5 flat forty-playing wide receiver.

Wonder if there was a team looking to sign Wheat from practice squad
Wheat was an Edge in college, so I wonder what DQ does with him, although I see STs for him tonight.

....McCarthy is figuring out, Hobbits dont exist in the NFL.

Except once in while you get a Sproles.

To quote an Agatha Christie novel ' Why didn't they ask Evans?' (to be elevated to the 53?)

Protections are geared at 2.0 seconds and most likely was to be an alternative receiver...but progressions was not there on a specific play,

He moves the ball and like Turpin, spread the field.

Some surprises with Tyrus Wheat and Malik over Deuce.
Glad to see Davis get a call up. Deuce is a better story than a player, at least at this point.
Davis being actived was a must.
Through 5 games, Pollard has 81 of the team's 156 carries = over half- 52%.
Take out the QBs' 16 scrambling runs, it's 81/140 attempts; that is 58% ...close to 3 out of every 5 rushes.
That has to change - starting tonight.
Dowdle and Davis each should have just as many carries as Pollard.

If thats the case then 6th round picks shouldnt get significant playing if their not going to contribute....
I think that was pretty much the intent, Vaughn has gotten 14% of offensive snaps thus far with most of his work during blowouts. I wouldn't say thats a ton of plays but probably feels like more because he's touched the ball on 52% of the snaps he's played.
