Schottenheimer Postgame

I agree with him about using all or most of the players. Easier for the team to win when everyone contributes.
The offense was stumbling the first 2 drives bc they were trying too hard to involve everyone. We started clicking when Dak started throwing to CD.

Players are fresh when the game starts. Things start to open up when the breathing gets a little rougher. I would continue to use as many players as possible if they can contribute. Hopefully Brooks can keep making some plays.

Pretty good stuff here

He says they try to involve everyone because they all have the skills to play and its deep talent on the roster. I would ask then why it's taken so long to get Dowdle and Luepke more snaps to help Pollard. Tried Deuce one game and then gave up. If they're that deep, then prove it. Get Pollard back to 12-15 snaps, and spell him with the others.

Me either. Tolbert has nothing after the catch. Brooks snatches the ball and tries to get busy.
Yes, this is it exactly. Tolbert just wants to secure the ball and not make a mistake. That's great if it's 4th Down and all (lookin' at you Dez in Green Bay) but otherwise try to make something happen.

Honestly he sounds like he knows how to be a football coach and I think Kellen/Garrett know more about being a player than a coach.

Far more interesting presser than the usual disengaged, scripted/stock-answer affair.
