The Commanders were terrible against the Giants but truth be told, the Giants were just as bad for long stretches against them. The score looked lopsided because Devito hit a couple deep passes early and there was a pick six late.

In between the entire game was a stalemate of two offenses unable to pass protect. On paper the Cowboys should win by 20-plus again, especially at home. But it's a division game on a short week, so they can't take anything for granted.

As someone who lives in the DC area, I definitely do not want our home winning streak snapped by the lowly Commanders, especially on Thanksgiving. The Commanders have a terrible secondary, and their defense as a whole isn't much better. Their offense is capable of putting up a ton of yards, if they don't turn the ball over. Sam Howell led the league in passing yards coming into this week, and they have a decent run game. The Cowboys are by far the more talented team, and they aren't the team that has to travel across the country on short rest, after an awful loss to the Giants (again). If Dallas can put up points early, and avoid turnovers and stupid, game changing penalties, this should be another relatively easy win. If the offense comes out flat like they did against Carolina, and they allow Washington to keep it close into the 3rd quarter, then anything is possible.

That is true. Their defense is flat out bad this year and will give them a lot of trouble. I find it funny the best QB's they played last year cooked them in Mahomes and Dak.

I think you're supposed to switch from 'doom and gloom' to the 'we should blow them out by 30' crowd anytime Dak starts to look good.

....in the pregame thread complain that We usually look bad on thanksgiving and 7-3 isnt a real 7-3 because we havent beaten anyone good

.....Promptly on Daks first incompletion say "Ballgame, this dude is just flat we need a better qb..washington is going to blow our doors off"

when Dallas goes up 28-6 log off

in the post game thread log back in and say "it doesnt count, we just beat who we were supposed to beat, do it against the 49ers or Eagles"
