NFL was late releasing these this week…
Some observations:
  • Cowboys offense scored 38 points on only 54 offensive snaps. Of course Deron Bland provided the other 7.
  • The entire OL played all 54 snaps. Encouraging.
  • Jalen Tolbert had more snaps than Michael Gallup.
  • Malik Hooker had the most snaps on defense.
What are your observations?

Tolbert n Gallup are splitting reps evenly, so there's a quiet development.

Pollard is getting a high snap %, Rico not so much.

Schoonmaker is getting some good experience hope it pays off in the Playoffs.

DQ decided to go primarily nickel in Kearse's absence resulting in Clark/Bell playing a lot...wonder why Evans didn't get more snaps.

Turpin in only 5 WR snaps appeared to be Dak's primary read on the deep shot for the TD. Opposing teams will definitely take note of that.

I think if the offense had gone back out there after the Bland interception, we would have seen some of the second-teammers. The TD throw to Turpin was the last we were going to see of the first team.

I actually see some positives in the snap count.

M. Bell for one is on the field nearly full time, and if I'm not mistaken, he missed some snaps because of injury on Thursday. I really think the more time he gets, the better he will get, same with D. Clark.

Sam Williams getting more snaps is actually a good sign to me.

Jourdan Lewis appears to be improving as the season progresses. For awhile, I thought it was time for a change.

Schoonmaker must be practicing well and doing some things well that maybe unnoticed during the game to get more snaps.

431 yards on 50 plays from scrimmage (not counting penalties). That's 8.6 yards every time they ran a play. Just incredible production.

Both Vox and Ridgeway played 17 snaps each. Cox’ snaps were all on special teams. Ridgeway played 11 snaps and 6 on special teams.

I was slightly ruing the Ridgeway release after Week 17 last year, but it definitely was the right move--- or a neutral move at least.

That is concerning to me you literally gotta start pulling some of those fueled snaps not just the carries the amount of time that Pollard is blocking being a decoy out in patterns that he's not a primary target they're wearing his *** out I know he's looked better the last two weeks but Rico needs more of that blocking the short yardage I'm wondering if they're gonna flip flop that this game given the three games in 12 days they'll edit towards Rico this game kind of get the fresher guy in I mean that's what should be happening I feel like we need Tony Pollard to be even more fresh against the Eagles Buffalo Miami and Seattle et cetera these are the bigger games and I believe they should be able to is bigger these leads that we have in these games especially at home they should have been able to easily give Rico more snaps..

I think Bell is a lock too.
The problem with that is he gonna be classified as a safety or a linebacker that's gonna hurt him he's too much of A hybrid and if it's linebacker probably not dude you got guys like Fred Warner and Bobby Wagner just some off the top of my head but there are some dudes that can play linebacker I'm not sure about the safeties but if he's classified as a linebacker he's not getting in the Pro Bowl just because he's one of our favorites doesn't make him a pro bowler

Not really a snap count comment, but there was a really cool scene on Thanksgiving where a couple of Cowboys met up with Jabril Cox on the field after a punt and they shook hands and patted each other on the helmet. I thought it was a cool scene among players who are obviously friends off the field.
