If Georgia wins, they are in.
If Alabama wins....they very well might be in even though if texas Wins Texas would have a win over bama.
However I can not see the voters having a playoff series without an SEC team.

Maybe. Maybe not. It was a very close game. Will have to see how things work out with the rest of them. Alabama nearly lost here; so its not a huge win as if they had won by two TDs or so.

It's about to be chaos. Will the committee have the guts to leave out FSU with a backup QB even if they win tonight and go undefeated? It's crazy that Alabama's spot isn't guaranteed because they lost to Texas. Beating the back to back champs and ending a 2 year win streak is as impressive of a win as it gets on your resume...even though they lost to Texas earlier

BULL. Clearly Georgia was not the Georgia of the past two years and every year is different. Bama fans have to get used to the idea that the special treatment they got for so long is over

If FSU wins they are in; the committee is not going to penalize them for injuries. That is something that got hashed out some years ago.

TCU lost in the Big 12 championship game last year and still got in the playoffs.

IF they win its Michigan Washington FSU
then it comes down to a bunch of possibilities. By rankings its OSU I think; but that is variable as well. Texas beat Alabama on the field. OSU lost to Michigan and no one like rematches. Alabama beat the #1 team. Georgia barely lost and is the two time defending champion (which honestly is strictly window dressing)
Frankly you could throw a blanket over the top 6 or 7 teams.

This is the first year where you can argue there should be 8 teams in the playoffs. Usually its three or four and that is it.
