I could tell as soon as the game started it was going to be one of those games.

We couldn't stop the run.

We couldn't score a touchdown in the red zone.
We were going to get drive stopping penalties.
They were going to get drive extending penalties and I was going to have to continue to watch our players be held and no calls made.
Missed a fumble and a punt block kept us from getting off the field.

Our offensive line was over matched and continued to break down.

And shortly after halftime our players develop that on the road hang dog look that told you we were never coming back to even compete in this game.

All that said tomorrow is another day and I still have confidence we can beat Miami. They have made their bones beating up on a lot of suspect teams and I believe they are beatable

Miami has beat the Jets twice the Patriots twice the Giants the commanders the Panthers the chargers the broncos the raiders.

And they got beat by everybody that was any good I think that gives us a fighting chance

The only thing missing is struggling against a zonal secondary.

Actually I thought we matched up against the Bills better than Miami. Detroit is a good evaluation game.

Yep it's like groundhog Day we succumb to all the same demons on the road against these good teams and the result is always the same.
I posted before the game and had hoped that we would at least clean up the penalties we didn't have a lot but the ones we had were very impactful.

I hear you that fumble was another lost possession along with trying to block the kick it would have been better to just let them punt the ball if you can't try to block it cleanly.

On another note after we had full blown lost the game did we really need to add insult to injury and keep our starters out there in the rain risking injury.

I don't know about you guys but I kept watching CD lamb get up limping thinking to myself we've already lost the game and now we're going to lose him for the rest of the season by being too stupid to get him out of the game.

Wouldn't that have been a time to give one of the young receivers or a guy like martavis Bryant some playing time and let Cooper rush throw to him.

I mean we had already gotten Zack Martin dinged up we didn't need to make things worse in my opinion.

Anybody really going to care that we drove down and scored a touchdown at the end in garbage time with our starters.
It wasn't like we were at home playing in front of our fans trying to do something I would have thought they would have just wanted to get the heck out of there

Not sure exactly what they were doing with Micah but as usual I was forced to watch replays with him in a chokehold.
Makes my blood boil if they would call every hold that is committed on him games would be totally different.

Would like to see somebody compile a highlight reel of all the holding committed on Micah that was not called this year I bet it could be a half hour segment

My only concern was the offense.

I don’t expect consistent defense in this league. It’s just not built that way.

But the offense was so bad. They’ve got to figure that out in games like this.
