Christmas Day NFL games thread

The second was tipped in the air by a blitzer and a LB grabbed it.
Nobody ever said it was fair being a quarterback. Especially when the handoff to a running back and the running back fumbles the handoff. It counts as a fumble against the QB. Or when the quarterback makes a perfect pass and the Receiver let it go through his hands into the defenders hands...

In the first two games, the four teams were struggling through missed assignments, mental errors, and bonehead penalties.

Tonight -- despite the turnovers -- both teams are dialed in physically and mentally-- moving at seemingly twice the speed and quickness than I saw earlier today.

No downside to trying to even it up. Especially when SF is running all over them.
I was fine with taking the 1 when with more than half a game left.
Certainly, go for 2 if it's anywhere in the 4th, but not the 2nd quarter.

Wouldve been fine either way though.

He has been pretty incredible. No QB has really stood out over each other to put a claim on it.
Maybe Tua? But I don’t really know much about his stats.
The two best "statistically" have been Purdy and Dak.

I agree, this hasn't been a year where a QB has something like 30 more TDs than turnovers...like prime Rodgers, Brady or Brees....or that crazy year Lamar had several years ago.

Low hanging fruit to get the MVP

Runs like that are great… until your qb is too slow to go down once against the wrong defense.

When facing LJ, you pretty much don’t want to get around the edge as a pass rusher.
