If the MVP comes down to Dak vs Lamar Jackson

I couldn't care less about the MVP award. It's as meaningless to me as how many Pro Bowlers the Cowboys get.

Win something more than the occasional wild card game. Team success.

Nobody holds a parade for individual awards. There are reasons for that.

The less pro bowls and and less awards the better. Players seem to want to be paid more after these awards.

Dak's no longer a candidate, unless some nutty things happen in the last 2 weeks.

ESPN BET has him at +1800 to win MVP, 6th-shortest odds in the NFL.

Lamar is the favorite at -180.

Purdy plummeted to 5th-shortest odds at +1400.

Well Lamar has a better offensive line, running game, defense, coach, and tight end. The Cowboys have better star players.
Not sure on the OL, but Dak does have the better WRs. TE? First half of the season yes the Ravens had it better, now? Not as much.
I'm not buying Lamar personally.
Not dismissing Purdy for one bad outing either.
Dak is still in it, IMO.

And, I'd still be open to CMac, or THill.

Last two weeks can make or break any of them.

Nice stats, but here's what voters will remember. Dak went to San Fran on national TV, did nothing and the Cowboys got blown out. Then Lamar went to San Fran...

It just goes to show how silly this award is, so I'm not sure why any fan cares about it.

I can tell you every time the Cowboys won the SB, and the score of that game. I have no idea who won the MVP in any of those seasons.

Lamar at this point. MVP does deal with qb play, but winning teams also boost the score. Him beating the 49ers probably cemented it unless they fall off real bad.
Not if they get blown out vs the Dolphins and Lamar turn the ball over multiple times.
