Where are the takeaways and sacks?

They went south for the winter. So, I guess they're down in Mexico. Blame it on Mexico, if you need a reason.

Small, quick olines get ground down by the end of the year.

This year could just be that we've been losing more so opportunities for sacks have gone down. Hankins out has got to hurt too. I'm not a big Hankins fan, but the guys behind him aren't better.

Yup. Funny how Hankins was a revelation to some, and he's just average. At least he's legit, though.

Small quick DLines get owned in the playoffs. That's why the Purple People Eaters never won one. Den had the same for a while, same results.

Umm, I don't think you know about the Purple People eaters. They were hardly small at that time.

You could be right, I might be thinking of a later Vikings DLine that was considered small. Didn't they also go by that nickname when John Randle was there?

More I see of DQ, more doubt is setting in.
With post season lingering. Gonna need to risk, to create opportunities.

No only 70's one had that name. That was a small line with randle. That one in the 70's was not small.

Most turnovers don't come down to a booth review. An INT or a strip sack are pretty blatant. So you're saying if Vegas wanted SF to beat the Ravens they'd have ruled Purdy's INTs not valid?

This DL has never been stacked, they move a LB to the end position, now he is undersized and you just weakened that position because now you have no LB that can even make a play. You really have but one DT and he has been hurt for multiple games the last 2 years and nobody to replace him and he is aging. Yes team needs to draft well but have no 4,5 or 6 round picks. Will need to active in FA but now big contracts are staring you straight in the eyes. Man oh man!
 
The Sacks and Turn Overs shoot up when the offense is on its game and gets a lead. Other teams get in catch up mode and get pass happy.
D can focus on pass rush and the secondary can profit from that pressure.

Not much of that happening when Dallas is not getting big leads. So the other team has a good running game going and can hit deep shots with play action fakes.

As others have also said, it also hurts when Micah is getting and mauled at times with zero calls.
