Cowboys DE/LB Micah Parsons: "The regular season is cute. But this is legacy. There's always the term of be phenomenal or be forgotten. ... (The way Jimmy Johnson, Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Charles Haley performed in the 1990s), that's where me, CeeDee, Dak all want to be, (have) that legacy and earn our way into that type of Cowboys Hall of Fame."

I like how no one is making a big deal about winning the East. Dak, Mike, and Micah all know what really matters.

I hope this is the year to at least get over the divisional round wall. They have to at least reach the CCG this year.

Him, Dak and MM showing leadership and not overreacting to things....a good sign

LOL I basically just said the same

Noticed micah actual playing the run today. Keep it up
He was def playing more linebacker… if they’re going to get away with holding him as a pass rusher all the time may as well play him there more.

He also has to take on far less double and triple teams.

Running downs I want him in the middle. He can still blitz if need be. He’s the ultimate weapon you can move around

Yeah I feel the same way. This team has scared me in the past as feeling like they already accomplished something but I don't get that vibe with them right now.

Anyone notice in post-game interview that Dak wasn't wearing the division-champ hat that Lamb was?

She even asked him about it, he said something like "I'm waiting for something bigger", or did I hear that wrong?

Not sure how much choice Cowboys have in that, the opposing O-lines will do what they do. But part of me wonders how much coaching pressure is put on the other rushers to do their jobs when Parsons is taking 2-3 guys out of the play. That really should make things much easier for the other 3 rushers...

My first impression is when he lines up off ball he's a force against the run. Against the Cardinals when they pretty much ran it left side all game he was at RDE IIRC.
I think when he gets that extra second, in the middle and upright, to see it's a run he's more of a force at LB to stop it.
