Sticky: The official the whole team played like dog dookie thread

What bothered me most about today's pitiful performance is that the team's "leaders" appeared to give up in the first half.

There was one camera cut to the sidelines showing Cee Dee sulking and Dak seemingly thinking "not again", and contemplating his future. And don't get me started on Micah.

What message did that send to the rest of the men...when these guys should have been fired up on the sidelines, rallying the troops?

D-Law and Ferguson never quit. Gallup had his most productive game of the season.

Top 5 passer
Top 5 Defense
Top 5 ST
Playing at home against an inferior team.

No excuses for this door doo gog crap performance.

They get punched in the mouth and they know what's coming. We all do.

How could we have known what the "Doomsday Defense" really meant? After 60 years I'm out.

When they play a good team that is physical and committed to beating up the Cowboys.
Im not even sure they 'beat us up'. By the time they were 27 pts up, they only had something like 32 yards on the ground (for under 3 yards plus). Love was the difference, well he could perform where Dak couldnt.

I've accepted that I will never see the Cowboys advance to a conference championship game again.
I too lowered my expectations a long time ago but I'd be a liar if I said this year with having some home games didn't give me a little hope for some playoffs success

Some hope right up until I saw the fear in their eyes of losing this team feared losing so bad they were unable to win.

They were a total and complete unorganized mess I put the majority of it on the coaching they were not prepared to play the Packers whatsoever the Packers however did their homework and were completely prepared for us

It was pretty much the same old story if the other team can run on us and get a lead causing us to play from behind it makes us throw all the pressure on Dak. To try and come from behind and catch up.

We are not that team no matter who we're playing especially a good team that has done their homework on us and Dak is not that guy.
That's why the Packers took the ball first try and get us playing from behind and it worked to their advantage and here we are.

It's groundhog Day again we made it to the playoffs fulfilled my expectations and now will watch the rest of it unfold with everyone else.
I don't even get upset about it anymore it's just an expected yearly event

Was it just me or did we play way more zone this game then we did all year? I don’t recall seeing us in a zone defense this much, packers routinely found the soft spot on 3rd and long. Very frustrating to watch.

I don’t know if you’re serious or that you maybe didn’t notice GBs second team in during the 4th quarter
Sarcasm.

I was done with anyhope of a SB win after the Bills game. I should have known better even before that defeat.

Good. We have to do whatever we can to cope with this annual kick in the balls. Stay strong.
The hard bit is trying to be positive and hoping that any series of results, are not fools gold (beating up and getting results against bad teams for example)
Then believing (as i did this season) we can perform as well against good teams (which we can't.)

The diehards on CZ tend to be right and do not entertain any form of winning phase we go through.

My instinct tells me they are right, but to permanently think that way does not provide a positive
fan outlook.
