Jerry “Run it Back” Jones.

I’m lukewarm on the current staff to be sure, but this version of Jerry is still preferable to the ridiculous spending habits and emotional hiring/firing processes of the late 90s and early 2000s.

There was a time when the rash decisions Jerry made after a loss like that rendered the franchise uncompetitive and below .500 for years thereafter.

Was predictable as the days went on. I was fine either way and felt that, that loss was more than deserving to fire him if that’s the route they took. I do think it wasn’t as easy as “he must be fired” or as simple as “he can’t be fired he’s made the playoffs 3 straight years”.

Way more nuanced than that.
