Best Elliot extension in NFCE history
Pure stupidity Dream Team is back lol.$6M per for a kicker
How do they always have money andyes they have a high paid QB too !Howie has endless money every year
So they are going for it right now in the immediate? When the windows open and they have a chance?Philadelphia has money because they are borrowing from the future.
Example,
2025 Philadelphia 17 million cap space
2026 Philadelphia 60 million cap space
2027 Philadelphia 240 million cap space
2025 Dallas 97 million cap space
2026 Dallas 189 million cap space
2027 Dallas 269 million cap space
Philadelphia is borrowing in 2025 and 2026 for 2024.
This is what I wish more people understood better. Yes you can restructure, and while it might seem limitless, it's not.Philadelphia has money because they are borrowing from the future.

Guess what next they will borrow from 2027 next year and the year after that’s how it worksPhiladelphia has money because they are borrowing from the future.

Who the f cares about 2026 when with the right moves the team can win a superbowl in 2024 or at worst increase its odds and give it a great chanceThis is what I wish more people understood better. Yes you can restructure, and while it might seem limitless, it's not.
This kicking the can down road stuff makes it much harder to course correct when a mistake is made. You can't move on easily, you're more locked in.
That's exactly how it works....until you can't anymore. You only kick the can down the road for so long. At quick glance 2026 is when Phillies situation starts to get very tight. Do they extend a 30 year old AJ Brown to another mega contract to free up space? Jalen Hurts contract hit becomes quite large that year, it's when they likely have to eat whats left on the Barkley deal, and they have several guys they'll be eating the void money for that are on the roster now. They may be ablet push money back and get rid of some guys for cap relief but even still it looks like that'll be a house cleaning year for that team.Guess what next they will borrow from 2027 next year and the year after that’s how it works

I'm not interested in just 2024. Turns out I plan to be a fan for years. We'll have new HC in 2025. I want them to have as much flexibility as possible.Who the f cares about 2026 when with the right moves the team can win a superbowl in 2024 or at worst increase its odds and give it a great chance
And for the record there are times to borrow against the future, but this year is clearly not it.Who the f cares about 2026 when with the right moves the team can win a superbowl in 2024 or at worst increase its odds and give it a great chance
