Is a reasonable conversation too far against the narrative?
????????
You’re either way smarter than me or way dumber than me. I’m not sure which. Is a reasonable conversation too far against the narrative?
Why does it have to be polarizing? You’re either way smarter than me or way dumber than me. I’m not sure which.
No, because if you don't plan on resigning them the following year, you should be trying to trade them.Really wish there was a separate cap for FAs and your own drafted players. The way the cap is currently setup it punishes teams that draft really well by not allowing them to sign all their own drafted players.
Sounds like a convenient way to leave the door open to complain about decisions a GM couldnt avoid...Really wish there was a separate cap for FAs and your own drafted players. Watch this thread get pushed off 1st page conveniently...You’re either way smarter than me or way dumber than me. I’m not sure which.
I've been a proponent of something like this for years. For instance, if you have a player who has only been on one team and is say a 10 yr vet. then teams you be able to reward that loyalty not have to cut them as a salary cap issue. Say something like they only count 50 percent of their salary against the cap...Really wish there was a separate cap for FAs and your own drafted players. The way the cap is currently setup it punishes teams that draft really well by not allowing them to sign all their own drafted players.
They way to win in the NFL is to do the opposite of everyone else. Simple supply and demand.Pressures that lead to present Qb price levels
The multitude of rule changes that promote scoreing in hopes of more tv, attendence money..
....puts more and more emphasis on 1 person
IMO, teams are mistaking the importance of a QB for what you should pay for one. The percentage of cap going to QBs is getting crazy. Is a reasonable conversation too far against the narrative?
We drafted a developmental NT in the 1st and tried to turn him into a 3T.Even after drafting Mazi tried to turn him into something he wasn't.

That would lead to more money devoted to player salaries. Since the salary cap and it’s increases were bargained for in the CBA what are the players going to give the owners of equal value to get such a policy added to the bargaining agreement.I've been a proponent of something like this for years. Yes, that is my thought also.Pressures that lead to present Qb price levels
