Looks like our scummy rivals from Philly locked up the left side of their line for the next four years. I think Mailata had one year left on his deal, so him and Dickerson are locked in for the next four years. Why are we waiting until the last minute with Micah and Cee Dee?
Wake me up when they get a real actual QB behind center. Dallas is lucky the NFCE is mired in sub par QB . .But the Cowboys ain't doing any better trying to make the team better and going the lame duck way. Quack, Quack.......

If we pay a guy early it’s Jerry being too enamored and you get the “we like our guys” snark that is prevalent amongst the middle school mentalities here.

If we pay a guy later we complain about how long it took.
I was just about to post something similar. If jerry blabs about everything "we" complain". If he is secretive "we" complain.

Off season...gotta love it. At least IN season we can complain about actual football.

Yay more meltdowns over nothing.

So they extended one of their own. That does not make them any better.

We don’t have to do a thing with CeeDee or Micah at this point. So no use in crying.
I just told Bob this in his "subtraction addition" thread.

Resigning some average players...isn't ADDING!

What have we ADDED...so far? Not much.

It's early, I get it. But other teams HAVE added.

Our young LT doesn't need to be locked up yet. I'll be surprised if we don't get an extension done with Lamb before this season starts. Micah won't be until next year.

Not an average player. They don't fool around with key players on the line. I'm still salty over Tyron leaving.

If Hurts poops the bed next year I think he gets the Wentz treatment. Dak with that talent on offense would kill it.

The meltdowns are getting ridiculous- the cowboys have shown what they are doing, draft first, pick up some bargain FAs and make dak play out the year….getting upset bc x team signed someone doesn’t change anything

We have time with CeeDee and Parsons but Dak is going into the final year of his contract so we need to focus on him so we know where we stand salary cap wise when it comes to extending CeeDee and Parsons. It’s not going to be easy extending them with the kind of money they’re likely looking for. We may end up having to franchise one of them if worse comes to worse.

Exactly. The Trevon Diggs deal got done around or during camp. Likely going to do the same with Lamb this year and Micah the next.

I understand fans' frustration but some people just love to get upset about anything just so they can crap on the team they are supposed to be a fan of.

My response to the Eagles re-signing their own guard is simple- who cares.

You're not wrong but the Cowboys will have upwards of $90 million of cap space next year, no less than $83 million. They can get an extension done with all three players if they do it correctly. And if they want to.

I think you did not understand what I said. We have resigned some average players. That is not "addition". THAT...is status quo.

Tyron? I would have kept him. With the understanding he does not play every down I want him to play. I do not lament his release...if he found great money elsewhere. His contribution to that team remains to be seen.

Many of those other teams have also lost players.

Hard to do anything correctly when you have players that want to reset the market. It takes both sides to reach a deal. We want to get it done but it’s to the players wanting to get it done.

Mailata is their left tackle. Not a guard. They also signed their left guard. He’s an All-Pro, not a tackle. You don’t understand fans’ frustration at all.
