Realistically can we afford to sign all three Lamb, Ceedee, and Dak?

I don't envy the position that they're going to be in, but IMHO if it was me I'd say sorry I'm not resetting the market on at least two of the contracts for the betterment of the team as a whole in the long run.
So true on this!!!!! I just can't see how this gets done

Jerry would never do it, but I’d see what I could get for Parsons this year or next. It never hurts to find out. If I could get two first round picks, and I don’t think we could, I’d consider that trade.

Can we afford to do this, if we do this is it worth that much of the cap being tied up in three huge contracts. I'm sure it's been done before elsewhere or maybe not, but it's a lot of money to go out. What about the depth that we will need to bring in to close out the roster?? Please give your thoughts, can we financially make this happen and play good football????
The Eagles have almost 37 million left in cap space. So yes, the Cowboys can sign all 3. I couldn't care less if they did or didn't.

5 years 255 million and it hasn't stopped them, even a little this off season.

What a shame the modern game is, really. I feel bad for kids who don't know what it is like to have a team that is built up with excellent players at all positions and you know you will be rooting for them all for years. Modern pro sports is becoming like college sports (constant roster churn). You rooted for Dallas in the 70s and you were watching 10 Hall of Famers who would go in as Cowboys down the road. Same for lots of other teams in all sports.

Yeah, but at the same time you can keep a core together for a good long run. It does suck how that's changed and player rivalries went out with the change. Now days they are buddies and exchange jerseys post game. Call me crazy but it's more fun when your team dislikes the opposition as much as you do.

"In analyzing a player contract or a team payroll, many fans (and even media) focus on cap impacts. I am here to tell you to stop doing that. What matters is the cash, not the cap. Cash is real money in and real money out. Cap is simply bookkeeping. Even dead money—leftover nonroster charges for players no longer with the team—is merely unamortized proration clogging up the pipes of the overall cap. It is not cash." (link)

All clubs must be under the cap by the start of each new league year... However, it’s critical to remember that the NFL salary cap is simply a ledger. While it is a hard cap, it’s designed to be exploited. Teams can deploy various mechanisms to push money into the future and create more space in the present... NFL teams are allowed to roll over any unused cap space from one season to the next... While the NFL has a salary cap, it also has a salary floor, so teams cannot hold onto money perpetually. Yes, it can be done.

Now you are going to have to fill in some other positions with rookies, but that is just the way it is.

But here is the rub.........just because you can do it, doesn't necessarily mean you should do it.

The key is to ask yourself is the player worth that contract? I think everybody would agree Parsons is worth a market setting contract as well as Lamb, They have put up the numbers to prove it.

That leaves Dak, do you think he is worth a market setting contract? Most here would probably say no, thus he is probably the odd man out if Jerry and his idiot boy are only going to keep 2 of the 3.

With the way Dumb and Dumber have managed the salary cap…I have my doubts. If Dallas is going to keep Dak then CD and Micah will go elsewhere to get the money they are going to command. There is simply not enough cash to go around.

Realistically our GM is stupid.

Of course we can sign all three. Just back load their contracts without a no trade policy.

Yes.
All of that is nice, but the same things you posted are causing us to act how we are this off season. It can be a myth, it can be whatever, but in the end, it can hurt you by pushing money down the road trying to manipulate it.

If you look at the situation - you need to get cheaper at qb, like way cheaper.
they don't want to trust me, they love him just like the other QB they had before them, it would hurt them more than DAK if they were to part ways
