My uncle worked for GM in Flint, but that was a long time ago, he's been retired for almost 30 years. He was gifted a new Camaro as a retirement present, but it got stolen at a rest stop when moving back down to Texas. The car was found and he did get it back. Generally his experience was good, but that was a very long time ago.

I doubt its much different then working for any other large corporation nowadays

I know a supervisor at the Arlington Texas plant. I've never heard him say one way or the other about it.

Doubt its like that anymore. With all the red-tape that occurs between the lines.
