Video: Jeff Heath Career Highlights

Didn't he expedite the retirement of an Eagles player on a kick return block? he was highly criticized for that play but I have always seen the injury caused not by the block but for the Eagles player leaning his helmet down before the hit even after seeing Heath coming. Whatever they say, Heath was never afraid and would go for the ballo or the hit.

Heath was a good player, for a udfa, and was forced to play his rookie season, which
made him seem bad, some dumb fans never let that go.
I remember one play as a rookie, where he had to cover calvin williams, and fans got mad when calvin
caught the ball lol.

I don’t think some fans seem to get the fact when Heath’s name is brought up, it is in a sarcastic manner. He was a player who just couldn’t get taken off the roster, making the team and getting PT.

So lighten up. He just did the best he could with his limited ability. His strength was his effort.

A good player for a UDFA? Sure

But a good player as an actual NFL starter? Definitely not. He had some great hits and decent TO production, but far too often he was a liability as a tackler and in coverage

2016 Cowboys finished first in the NFC East with a 13–3 record and earned a first round bye. On January 15, 2017, he had one of his best games in the 34–31 loss against the Packers in the NFC Divisional Round, recording three solo tackles, one deflected pass, one interception (a second one was called back because of a penalty), his first career sack, one quarterback hurry and one special teams tackle. Yet he sucked...
