A little bit more rigid structure wouldn't hurt I guess, but I think this is mostly meaningless.

Dallas will be better on the road this year just because they have an easier road slate.

maybe or maybe not but he knows better than YOU! this simply would allow you to get there earlier, mentally preparing and taking in the environment ie rowdy fans already building etc ...

Honestly, I don't think getting there earlier will have any effect, but I guess it doesn't hurt to try something different.
