I for one couldn't be more impressed with Aubrey! He tied the record longest ever FG today although it was called back. I think before the years over he nails the record. As for the 71 yard attempt, I believe he could have made it although the scenario tonight was probably not the right one to attempt it, a return of a short kick could have turned the game around.
There will be other opportunities like a last second FG attempt or something similar at some point though and he will get his shot at a 70 plus.

It's a shame that he tied for the longest kick in NFL history, but it doesn't count. The 71-yarder, if he had made it, would have sent me into a frenzy. Who knew a kicker could be so much fun? Aubrey is a gem.
