Dak played great in the 1st half and looked bad in the 2nd. Luckily, we didn't need him to be good for all of the game but its hard to justify that contract given the Bi-polar performance. Its a league where good QB's get paid elite money because QB play is down overall in the league.

He can't. Once he begins ragging on a player he will find that in the weekday prep with upcoming teams and players he has to say nice things or no player or team will make their star players and coaches available to him.

This is the price you pay to be an announcer. If you want real discussion on players got to Youtube and the second tier players who are monetizing their channels independently based on game tape they can access with All-22. There you will find actual debate and criticism.

I'm not a Dak hater, but I feel confidnet in saying that was not his best game played. There was pretty poor throws and plays executed by him and the offence.

If anything I give MM a big fat "F" for his management of this game. These week 1 Cowboys will not be able to win big games if this is what they can muster week in and week out.

IMO they got lucky because the Browns fielded what I think is the worst offence in all the NFL in week 1. With what Watson and Co. did out there in the first half could they have beaten the Caorlina Panthers of 2023?

Dak looked solid on that drive.

After that he was pretty pedestrian. Not awful. But certainly not real good.

Don't know why everyone (including Brady) is so terrified to acknowledge the obvious. I don't expect Brady to say Dakota is an awful QB. But acting like that was a virtuoso performance by Dak is blatantly deceptive.
