Ooof. Rough day for PFF grades for the most part, but I think the lopsided game script had a lot to do with that.

Good to see Mazi still holding down the fort at the bottom of the list!

Probably a reason why Zimm was forcing the Jones Boys to get off their butts and sign some veteran noses last second.

’Jerry…. I’m gonna break it to ya. This dude can’t play.’

This is why I can't take those jokers at PFF seriously anymore when they come up with crap ratings such as Rico Dowdle (who rushed 8 times for a paltry 26 yards and a measly 3.3 ypc average) at a 64.3 rating, meanwhile Zeke (who rushed 10 times for 40 yards, a 4.0 ypc average, a rushing TD, several key blocks in the pocket during pass protection, plus converted several 1st downs) gets rated less at a 60.4 rating and even Dak at a disrespectful 58.0 rating. Dowdle actually hurt the offense, yet he gets rated higher than Zeke and Dak who actually produced for the offense? Even rating Tyler Guyton at a paltry 42.0 rating even though in 36 passing snaps, he only gave up 2 QB pressures? What a joke run by a bunch of clowns at Cris Collinsworth's site.

Zeke had a wide open run for 8 yards on 3rd and 19. If you watch the play, most NFL RB's would have got more yards with how the play was blocked. PFF takes the play and the other players into account when they do the grading.

I don't think that PFF or any grading system is perfect but its better than just looking at raw stats.

There's some serious questions with this one. How is dowdle rated higher then zeke and as good as overshown played parsons was the dominating force. No one should be rated higher then parsons. Dlaw also had a massive game and is rated low. didn't think his tackling was that bad...unless I missed a few plays

For those dogging Mazi's grade, one of the toughest critics of him (Broaddus) actually gave him good praise for the game - basically said he was good when fresh (runs out of steam fast though). Talked about how he wasn't getting turned like he did CONSISTENTLY last year and stayed square in the holes. So, take that for what it's worth...

Lewis is the most unappreciated player on our team. He has become a very reliable player. I’m always impressed by how well he tackles.
two years ago when our D was insanely lights out it really showed some cracks when he got hurt, came back last year and still made plays.

Cant believe some people on this site didnt even want him back, i agree hes very underappreciated

12 players above 60 and 8 above 70 for defense is stellar, lets see how they do the rest of the season, tentative to get my hope up

I am very surprised at Guyton's grade - and, yes, I know PFF grades are far from accurate.

I don't recall Guyton whiffing many blocks or, for that matter, cringing every time Dak dropped back to pass. I actually thought he held his own pretty well

Not much here that matters.
Dallas got ahead big and coasted home.
They intentionally dialed it back on offense.
I actually liked that call as I am tired of the front running label where we beat bad teams by 40 but lose every close or meaningful game.

Only thing that really stood out to me was Jalen Brooks possibly needing more of Tolbert's snaps.
PFF graded Guyton awful in college as well, so this was more of same from their grading.
But no one expected him to do more than survive this week versus Garrett.
His tests will be versus mediocre pass rushers.
If he can't handle those guys 1v1 it will be an issue.

Browns only rushed for 92 yards(much of it Watson in trash time) so the Mazi grade is nuts TBH.
But the Browns also were no threat really in the run game so that will bear watching more in upcoming weeks.

Lots of talk of this being Martin's last year. Father time is undefeated.

He allowed multiple pressures and a sack. Good showing for the rook, though, against the best in the game.

Hmm. Guyton mostly kept Garrett in check. PFF must penalize strongly for play outcome -- the sack fumble

If you look at the replay, Dak got the ball out -- that should have been a simple incompletion. Did he still get beat? Yes. But that wasn't a sack fumble. It was an incomplete pass. The refs are told not to blow those down in case of a turnover. There was really no need for us to challenge as we recovered the "fumble" - we could have challenged but it was a bit early in the game for that.
